Granville has burst on the radar in a major way including making his debut in the top 100 of the rankings on Monday. He continued it with a big game on Tuesday evening including scoring 10 of his game high 24 points in the fourth quarter. Early in the game he was seeking his perimeter shot which the two guard drained a pair. As the game went on he started being more assertive getting in the lane for trips to the line, scoring on post ups with his quickness, and layups. Definitely earned his ranking and probably even a higher spot after my first time seeing him live.

Love is a long and rangy power forward that was impactful in this game with his length, athleticism, and force on the defensive end. I had three lines of notes on him in the first half while he only scored a single point. Has a chance to be a big time versatile defender with his long arms, anticipation, and shot blocking. Such a quick burst off the ground swatting shots and gets in passing lanes for steals including the play of the night when he stole the ball then went behind his back for a dime. In the first half he tended to drift a bit too much to the perimeter and the jumper was not falling in this game at all. When he used his quickness around the hoop, rim running, straight line takes, and got to the line he produced 11 points. High level rebounder and productive defender that is still working on the offensive game, but the potential is definitely there.

Carter opened our eyes in the fall at the Prep Hoops Camp. Big wing with good size and length that can play a number of positions. In this game he only scored 5 points getting on the glass for a put back along with an and-1. Did show some defensive instincts as well.

Newsome is your classic old school pure point guard. Would rather get others involved first as he made a ton of nice dishes in this game which led to assists. He also won off dribble penetration getting to the foul line along with hitting a pair of jumpers including one from three en route to 10 points.

With Bishop out Mundelein is Salvador's team. He came out like it in the first half as he was pouring in bucket after bucket. The lefty combo guard is a plus spot up shooter from three with such a free and easy shot. Also did a nice job of pushing in transition along with racking up the free throw makes as we had him for 10 makes from the charity stripe on his way to 20 points.

Thomas is a smaller point guard with quickness. Can shoot it from distance well along with utilizing a nice shot fake for a 15 footer. Crafty scorer and soft touch finishing game as well for the junior as he had 17 points.
