Each week during the high school season, Prep Hoops Wisconsin and Zaleski Sports will select boys' basketball teams of the week across the WIAA's five divisions. Here are this weeks honored squads:

DIVISION 1 … OAK CREEK

Other than Division 2 Racine Park, Oak Creek is the hottest team in the Southeast Conference at this point of the season. Coach Eric Hollow's squad ran its winning streak to four on Saturday with an impressive 74-70 victory over Fox River Classic Conference power Sheboygan North at the Warhawk Invitational at Germantown. Oak Creek got a big performance from senior guard Daniel Franklin Daniel Franklin Daniel Franklin 6'4" | CG Oak Creek | 2025 WI (6-3), who torched the nets for a game-high 33 points. Sophomore guard Tyson Busch Tyson Busch Tyson Busch 6'1" | SG Oak Creek | 2027 State WI (6-0) added 11 points while senior forward Cam Davitz (6-4) contributed 10. Last Friday, Oak Creek registered an 82-60 league win over Kenosha Bradford behind 25 points from Franklin, 19 from Davitz and 13 from senior forward Bryce Budney (6-1). Oak Creek (10-3) hits the road for a pair of Southeast games this week, playing Kenosha Tremper on Tuesday and Kenosha Indian Trail on Friday.

DIVISION 2 ... WEST BEND WEST

West Bend West snapped a 14-game losing skid to North Shore Conference opponent Nicolet last Friday as the Spartans registered a surprising 85-78 victory over the highly regarded Knights. West took a 38-31 halftime lead over the visiting Knights and then held serve in the second half as both teams scored 47 points. Senior Carson Bauer Carson Bauer Carson Bauer 6'4" | SF West Bend West | 2025 State WI (6-4) was outstanding for West as the UW-La Crosse recruit went for 33 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots. He got plenty of help from sophomore Cullen Roell (5-10), who had 16 points, and from senior Cal Baker Cal Baker Cal Baker 6'3" | SG West Bend West | 2025 WI (6-3), who had 15 points. A day later, West got a last-second mid-range jumper from Baker to pull out a 55-53 victory over West Allis Hale in the Warhawk Invitational at Germantown. Ryan Matenaer's squad takes an 8-6 record into this week's league outings at Homestead on Tuesday and at Hartford on Friday.

DIVISION 3 ... AMERY

Amery earned a pair of wins last week, defeating St. Croix Falls 76-43 in a non-league outing and Altoona 78-70 in Middle Border Conference action. The brothers Wollan, as usual, led the Warriors in both contests. Senior Carter Wollan Carter Wollan Carter Wollan 6'3" | SG Amery | 2025 State WI (6-3), who recently surpassed 2,000 career points, had 22 points and six assists against St. Croix Falls. The UW-La Crosse recruit also had 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the win over Altoona. Wollan has 2,075 career points for the Warriors, now 12-4 on the season under coach Tom Mackey. Wollan's younger brother, sophomore Keaton Wollan Keaton Wollan Keaton Wollan 6'4" | SF/SG Amery | 2027 State WI (6-3), was also outstanding last week as he had 22 points and seven boards versus St. Croix Falls and 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists against Altoona. Junior Sam Streich (6-4) added 10 points and three rebounds in the win over Altoona while senior forward Blake Anderson (6-3) pitched in eight points. Amery hopes to keep its winning ways going this week with league games against Somerset and Baldwin-Woodville.

DIVISION 4 ... BONDUEL

The Bears kept their undefeated record intact last Friday, but it took a half-court buzzer beater in order to do so. Senior Race Anvelink Race Anvelink Race Anvelink 6'0" | CG Bonduel | 2025 State WI (6-0) tossed in a heave from just inside the half-court line as the final horn sounded to give visiting Bonduel a 61-58 win over host Iola-Scandinavia in Central Wisconsin East Conference action. Anvelink's 11th, 12th and 13th points of the game helped Bonduel improve to 15-0 under coach Duke Copp and kept the Bears one game ahead of Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the league standings. Iola-Scandinavia played a solid game and got 26 points from sophomore Alex Robbins Alex Robbins Alex Robbins 6'6" | SF Iola-Scandinavia | 2027 State WI (6-6) and 17 from junior Korz Loken Korz Loken 6'5" | PF Iola-Scandinavia | 2027 State WI (6-5), but it wasn't enough to overcome Anvelink's game winner or the incredible performance put on by Bonduel junior forward Ryan Westrich Ryan Westrich Ryan Westrich 6'6" | PF Bonduel | 2026 State WI . Considered one of the state's elite football prospects in the 2026 class, the 6-foot-6 Westrich had 18 points, nine rebounds and nine blocked shots against Iola-Scandinavia. Senior Cade Johnson (5-9) and sophomore Quinn Wesenberg Quinn Wesenberg Quinn Wesenberg 6'3" | CG Bonduel | 2027 State WI (6-3) added 12 points each for Bonduel, which has games this week with Manawa and Coleman.

DIVISION 5 ... ROYALL

Like Bonduel, Royall remained unbeaten on the 2024-25 campaign with wins last week over Westby (66-49) and Hillsboro (60-48). Bonduel, Royall, Pardeeville and Kettle Moraine are the only remaining teams without a loss this season. Senior wing Carter Uppena Carter Uppena Carter Uppena 6'2" | SG Royall | 2025 State WI (6-2) has been the catalyst behind Royall's success this winter. The son of Royall head coach Scott Uppena, Carter Uppena Carter Uppena Carter Uppena 6'2" | SG Royall | 2025 State WI is averaging 20.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists. His poise, feel for the game and smart decisions with the ball in his hands are huge assets for the Panthers. He had 30 points in the win over Westby. Senior forward Landon Lipke Landon Lipke Landon Lipke 6'7" | PF Royall | 2025 State WI (6-7) continues to prove he is one of the more improved post players in the state as he is averaging 16.4 points and 7.1 rebounds. Senior Ben Crneckiy Ben Crneckiy Ben Crneckiy 6'3" | SF Royall | 2025 WI (6-3) is another key player for Royall as he is averaging 11.0 ppg while junior Trey Wildes Trey Wildes 6'1" | SF Royall | 2026 WI (6-1) adds 9.5 ppg. Royall has a busy week ahead with Scenic Bluffs outings against Cashton (Tuesday) and at New Lisbon (Friday) before tangling with Dairyland Conference power Blair-Taylor on Saturday at the Just A Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
