Each week during the high school season, Prep Hoops Wisconsin and Zaleski Sports will select boys' basketball teams of the week across the WIAA's five divisions. Here are this weeks honored squads:
DIVISION 1 … OAK CREEK
Other than Division 2 Racine Park, Oak Creek is the hottest team in the Southeast Conference at this point of the season. Coach Eric Hollow's squad ran its winning streak to four on Saturday with an impressive 74-70 victory over Fox River Classic Conference power Sheboygan North at the Warhawk Invitational at Germantown. Last Friday, Oak Creek registered an 82-60 league win over Kenosha Bradford behind 25 points from Franklin, 19 from Davitz and 13 from senior forward Bryce Budney (6-1). Oak Creek (10-3) hits the road for a pair of Southeast games this week, playing Kenosha Tremper on Tuesday and Kenosha Indian Trail on Friday.
DIVISION 2 ... WEST BEND WEST
West Bend West snapped a 14-game losing skid to North Shore Conference opponent Nicolet last Friday as the Spartans registered a surprising 85-78 victory over the highly regarded Knights. West took a 38-31 halftime lead over the visiting Knights and then held serve in the second half as both teams scored 47 points. Senior

(6-3), who had 15 points. A day later, West got a last-second mid-range jumper from Baker to pull out a 55-53 victory over West Allis Hale in the Warhawk Invitational at Germantown. Ryan Matenaer's squad takes an 8-6 record into this week's league outings at Homestead on Tuesday and at Hartford on Friday.
DIVISION 3 ... AMERY
Amery earned a pair of wins last week, defeating St. Croix Falls 76-43 in a non-league outing and Altoona 78-70 in Middle Border Conference action. The brothers Wollan, as usual, led the Warriors in both contests. Senior

Junior Sam Streich (6-4) added 10 points and three rebounds in the win over Altoona while senior forward Blake Anderson (6-3) pitched in eight points. Amery hopes to keep its winning ways going this week with league games against Somerset and Baldwin-Woodville.
DIVISION 4 ... BONDUEL
The Bears kept their undefeated record intact last Friday, but it took a half-court buzzer beater in order to do so. Senior

(6-0) tossed in a heave from just inside the half-court line as the final horn sounded to give visiting Bonduel a 61-58 win over host Iola-Scandinavia in Central Wisconsin East Conference action. Anvelink's 11th, 12th and 13th points of the game helped Bonduel improve to 15-0 under coach Duke Copp and kept the Bears one game ahead of Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the league standings.
