<p><strong>Princeton survives in triple OT</strong></p>

<p>One of the best games in the state last night came down in southern Indiana between the Princeton Tigers and the Gibson Southern Titans. The games went into an outstanding three overtimes and in the end, it was the Tigers that got the 45-44 victory and their 11th win on the season. The Tigers were led in scoring by Hanover commit [player_tooltip player_id='1297040' first='Jace' last='Jenkins'] with 11 points and [player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'] with 10 points. Princeton got their 5th straight win with this victory and will look to continue role when at Southridge on Saturday night.</p>

<p><strong>Tipton gets 7th straight win</strong></p>

<p>You can never count out the Tipton Blue Devils and that is exactly what they showed last night. In a tough road game, Tipton was able to get their 7th-straight with a 50-48 victory at Northwestern. It was Grace signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297029' first='Grady' last='Carpenter'] who did his thing with 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. When it comes to Class 2A, Tipton is looking like a team that can make a run out of Sectional 39. Up next, they have the Clinton Prairie Gophers. </p>

<p><strong>Results from Marion County Tournament Semifinals</strong></p>

<p>The best event of the week when it comes to boys high school basketball rolled on last night with the semifinals of the Marion County Tournament in Southport. Ben Davis was able to defeat Lawrence North 59-55 and North Central beat Pike 76-63 to advance to finals on Saturday night. Notable performances were [player_tooltip player_id='2452919' first='Sherman' last='Moss'] with 14 points for Ben Davis and 28 points for [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Papi' last='Rivera'] for North Central. Should be a really good game tonight for the Marion County Championship. </p>
