One of the best passers in Indiana’s Class of 2025, Carpenter not only displayed that elite playmaking ability, but also shot it well from beyond the arc and used his positional size to score in the paint against smaller defender. The Grace College signee had a big day at the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 workout.

Carpenter was feeling it from beyond the arc in the second quarter connecting on three of his four first half triples to give Tipton a one-point lead at the halftime break. However, Lapel stuck to their game plan with a packed in 2-3 Zone defense to contain Carpenter’s penetration and kept him from making plays for his teammates like he typically does. The 6’5″ Grace College signee finished with 24 points and 7 rebounds, but the Blue Devils fell to Lapel 52-45.

One of the best passers I’ve watched all summer, Carpenter whipped the ball around the court on Friday night, setting his teammates up for timely looks. Carpenter also executed BLOB plays at a high level, getting a good look almost every time. Combine that with a couple time and space jumpers and his fingerprints were all over the win.

- Offers: Marian, Kentucky Wesleyan, St Francis, Grace College, Huntington University
- Player Traits: Elite scorer, one of the best passing wings in the state, game can run through him, wide frame, taller perimeter player, underrated athletic ability, smooth, 3 level scorer
- My Quick Thoughts: Things have finally boosted up for Carpenter’s recruitment however, I don’t think he is done yet when it comes to offers. The 6’5 wing has been one of the most talented wings in the state over the past few years and now that talent is starting pay off with offers. He could see his stock rise even more during his senior season.
