The Highland Shootout took place over the weekend in an event that featured high profile talent from all over the country. In this story we break down prospects from Missouri in Highland Shootout: 2026 Missouri Top Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2375418' first='Tristan' last=''] Reed (John Burroughs)

Absolutely dominant performance out of one of the premier prospects in Missouri regardless of class. The junior big man did pretty much whatever he wanted around the hoop with hooks shots, dunks, put backs, rim runs, and even putting it on the deck a little. He shot a high percentage from the field while doing it too! Monster performance on the glass with his strong hands grabbing them on both ends of the floor. He also protected the cup on the defensive end swatting shots. He had perhaps the best individual performance all day as he dropped 29 points (13-18 FG), 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks. No doubt high-major big man.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557399' first='Sheek' last='Pearson'] (John Burroughs)

Pearson is the other twin tower for Burroughs. He is a long and leaner center that has a really high ceiling. The motor at times can run up and down throughout games, but there is no denying the talent. He is a plus athlete that had several finishes tipping offensive rebounds to himself. Passed it well for a big man. He had 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Would like to see him play more free and not think so much as it slows things down and leads to mistakes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850530' first='Ian' last='Thomas'] (Desmet)

Big game out of this 2026 strong bodied wing from Desmet as he carried his team in a win over Moline. Power left handed wing that can shoot it from the perimeter with good size. Mixed in powerful takes with spinning layups, scoop shots, along with backing his man in for scores in the paint on his way to 18 points (7-9 FG).

[player_tooltip player_id='2346155' first='Jordan' last='Boyd'] (Desmet)

Boyd caught our attention with a strong showing. Versatile piece that is a forward who plays with physicality finishing around the hoop and crashing the offensive glass for second chance opportunities going for 12 points (4-9 FG), 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090504' first='Ben' last='Karsten'] (Vianney)

Karsten is the second scorer for Vianney next to Walsh. The wing is a solid shooter from mid-range that can stretch it to three on occasion although he did miss quite a few in this one. Good rebounder from his wing spot. He had 12 points (5-16 FG) and 6 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090498' first='Kain' last='McCaskill'] (Vashon)

McCaskill like his older brother is a freak show athlete. The explosiveness in the open floor and open court are where he really shines. He had 7 points for Vashon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352805' first='Quentin' last='Coleman'] (Principia)

Coleman was a breakout player in the final game of the night. The Principia 6'1” shooting guard was flat out getting buckets especially in the first half pouring in multiple threes along with getting to the rack and line. Name to track over the next 9 months as he had 22 points (7-11 FG) (4-5 3PT) and an insane 15 rebounds from his two guard spot which showed off his athleticism and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1878296' first='Ron' last='Henry'] (Principia)

Henry is a big man that flashed early in the game for Principia with an explosive dunk and another finish off out of the dunker spot. The 6'7” four man has a good frame with some tools to work with.
