[player_tooltip player_id='2568379' first='Justin' last='Robinson'] has been a player I've been meaning to watch for some time. Finally given the chance, I was left in awe of his offensive potential. He dominated attacking the basket for easy paint points and used his strong body to handle contact well. His ability to keep his dribble alive and tight within traffic was superb and he looked composed with the ball in his hands. His quick decision-making led to assists within the flow of the Frederick Gunn offense and was the main reason his team was ahead for the majority of the game. He even hit an outside jump shot with sweet shooting mechanics.

[player_tooltip player_id='1866236' first='Jeremiah' last='Carter'] has been impressive every time I get to see him, and it was more of the same in this game. Acting as the lead ball handler for Kent, he was getting to the rim whenever he wanted by splitting the defense with his burst of speed and soft touch off the glass. He took on hard contact and was consistently getting to the free-throw line. I also appreciated his coast-to-coast scoring ability, play-making on the move, and defensive pressure guarding on the ball. Even with his jump shot not falling, he was still making an impact and singlehandedly brought Kent back into the game in the second half.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571910' first='Jahmez' last='Reaves'] is only a freshman but didn't play or look like it on the court. I was mainly impressed with his scoring confidence with the ball, driving to the rim, and using his frame to hit step-back jumpers and drain three-point shots from downtown. His defensive intensity was also stellar, as his footwork and overall movements were sound and his bulldog mentality was mind-blowing as one of the youngest on the court. He lastly made smart passes with the ball and did not try too hard to make something happen as he let the game come to him. His potential is off the charts and should continue to make strides for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470947' first='Rowan' last='Santos'] stood out with his exceptional defense and timely scoring. His hustle and energy were infectious as he made a huge block on a player who was clearly bigger than him and also continued to use his athleticism by making steals in the air. It helped keep Kent in the game till the very end. Offensively, he was able to get to the cup going coast to coast, cutting off the ball on a backdoor, and even hitting an open corner three with good touch. Filling in when you are needed is very crucial to playing positive basketball and he proved that in his appearances on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553687' first='Tommy' last='Misukanis'] acted as the garbage man for the Frederick Gunn squad and was very effective in doing so. He was finishing around the rim with a soft touch and used his height advantage well. His ability to grab rebounds through traffic was very noble and led to second-chance points which he thrived on. Lastly, he never gave up on a play and rebounded his own misses and that level of perseverance should lend itself well for Frederick Gunn to continue their winning ways and be productive on the basketball court.
