Reaves, a guard out of the Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut, checks in at #20 among the combo guards and #81 overall. Reaves is one of the better perimeter defenders in this class, as his activity level is off the charts and he has good instincts both on and off the ball. He does a nice job of rebounding in space, makes a ton of plays on the ball and in passing lanes, and pitches it ahead in transition off turnovers for easy baskets. Offensively, he impresses with his ability to consistently make the right reads and delivers passes both on time and on target to teammates in scoring spots.

Reavez is a big, strong guard who combines power with impressive athleticism. He’s tough to stop when attacking the rim and can absorb contact while finishing. His physical tools and flashes of skill make his upside hard to ignore. With continued development, he has the potential to be a real problem at the next level.

Reaves, a combo guard out of the Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut, impresses with his combination of athleticism, physicality, and skill. A capable handler, he makes plays for himself and others off the bounce, showing good burst and impressive floor vision. He has a quick first step and, with a mature frame, is able to power his way to the rim as a driver. He knocks down shots in catch and shoot situations and continues to evolve as a decision maker out of ball screens.

showcased impressive scoring instincts on the floor. He was hitting shots from distance with creativity, using side steps, pull ups, and step backs to create space. He was also a bulldog to the rim, bullying his way for layups.

is only a freshman but didn’t play or look like it on the court. I was mainly impressed with his scoring confidence with the ball, driving to the rim, and using his frame to hit step-back jumpers and drain three-point shots from downtown. His defensive intensity was also stellar, as his footwork and overall movements were sound and his bulldog mentality was mind-blowing as one of the youngest on the court. He lastly made smart passes with the ball and did not try too hard to make something happen as he let the game come to him. His potential is off the charts and should continue to make strides for years to come.
