Gonda is a gigantic prospect whose sheer size immediately stands out and takes up a ton of space on the interior. He is a legitimate threat from the dunker spot, where his length and positioning allow him to finish efficiently around the rim. I liked how he consistently found ways to rebound the basketball and extend possessions with his effort on the glass. He also spent time at the foul line, showing he can draw contact and convert when given opportunities. In transition, Gonda moved fluidly for his size and showed he can run the floor effectively and get out in space. He also demonstrated some passing ability, moving the ball well when the defense collapsed on him. His long-term upside is intriguing, and he should be firmly on the radar of Northeast Division I programs as he continues to develop.
