No 2025 Division I commit in Ohio looks more improved from July to now than Vanderwalker. The confidence he's playing with is at an all-time high and he's been sensational in both games I've seen Delaware Hayes play this season. Improving as a 3-point shooter has helped unlock the rest of his game and Vanderwalker is now spacing the floor while also doing everything else he's been great at like rebounding, passing and playing with a high feel. His highlight play came off a steal where Vanderwalker soared for one of his patented left-handed slams. If Vanderwalker is playing at this level, the Pacers have a shot to go back-to-back as Columbus regional champions.

One of the best stationary passers in Ohio, Piatt-Brown had a couple slick wrap-around passes and hits cutters on time and on target in Delaware Hayes impressive offense that is centered around off-ball screening action and cutting. Piatt-Brown also knocked down a couple 3-pointers, took a charge and executed off BLOB plays. If players want to know how to impact the game without needing to dribble the basketball, watch Piatt-Brown play.

Saint Ignatius handled business in a battle between two of the top private school programs in Ohio and while the Division I commits duo of Woidke and Friery helped the Wildcats get it done, Johnson was also a crucial piece of the puzzle. A guard who thrives in transition, Johnson can turn defense into offense in a blur. A player who flies around the court, Johnson covers a ton of ground on the defensive end of the court. Add in a couple mid-range jumpers and you have an impactful performance in a marquee battle.

Few high school forwards play with the motor and energy that Pitt does on both ends of the court. One of the elite rebounders for his size nationally, Pitt flat out wins you high school basketball games. 8/11 from the field on the interior, Pitt is efficient and knows what he is on the basketball court. Also swatting a game-high three shots, Pitt impacts the game in the paint at both ends.

In a fun battle to end the night, Greenberg was going at the Reynoldsburg defense, serving out buckets in a variety of ways. Greenberg was making shots off the catch and moving without the basketball. Centerville did a nice job of using Greenberg as a screener to then let him make himself available for open shots as well. Throw in the highlight of the night when Greenberg dunked all over a Reynoldsburg defender and he had a monster performance on the big stage. While it wasn't enough to take down the unbeaten Raiders, Greenberg and Centerville showed out and are still a team to watch come playoff time in southwest Ohio.
