-While I wouldn't call him a full time PG, Lonergan serves as a great connector for the Cavaliers. He keeps his head up to deliver dimes to backdoor cutters or make skip passes after getting two feet in the paint, can defend guards and most wings, and will sneak in to grab some big rebounds in key moments of games. The shooting was huge in this one, with Lonergan knocking down 3 triples to help the Cavaliers score a big win at home to take sole place of 1st in the BCL from SFA.

-Probably the most well-rounded performance that I've seen from the junior sniper as he contributed at the offensive end with his signature shooting but also defended and rebounded well. Busse got it going early in the 1Q with a curl into a pull-up 2 off the side ball screen. His defensive positioning and awareness has improved, jumping passing lanes to get the Cavaliers going in transition to give them an early lead that they never relinquished. The handle has improved and the timing of his passes in transition led to easy layups for teammates, love that he's not telegraphing his passes and is waiting for the window to open up to cut down on tipped passes or turnovers.

-He's ranked in the local T10 in his class for a reason, and the move to PVI is paying early dividends as Brown is proving that he can play both on and off the ball. The jumper is falling more consistently from beyond the arc because he's getting easier C+S looks, knocking down threes 3s in a road win over Carroll. "Turk" is thriving as a quick point guard that gets into gaps and passes teammates open, showing the full arsenal with whip passes, pocket passes, hook passes, and handoff dump passes to bigs. Brown showed great anticipation to lift from the corner to jump a pass at the wing and hit a double clutch lay in midair at the other end. While there still is place to improve and he will need to be an absolute pitbull of a POA defender to net MM+ scholarships, his on-ball defense has taken a jump--doing a better job of staying in front of his matchup and staying disciplined to not reach and allow unforced turnovers to occur.

-Little flashed his upside as a scoring PG that can create for himself at all 3 levels. The smooth lefty guard curled around a screen into a 3 off the baseline out of bounds set, hit a step-back 3 after coming flat off a ball screen, finished with the runout extension lay in transition, hit a spinning pull up 2 in the paint, and had a great drive and kick to the shooter to the near-side shooter. Little anticipated crossovers well on the night, poking out two high crossovers in front of his body while also ripping away another steal from a big from behind to get his team going in transition. Little's C+S ability is one of the best in the class, but I want to start seeing more crosscourt passes or drives where he is looking to create an easy one for one of his bigs to reward them for rebounding/running the floor. If he continues to grow, the skillbase should carry him to a productive career.

-Bahr absolutely filled up the stat sheet in a big road win for the Panthers to remain undefeated this JV season. Bahr hit a PnR roll+finish through contact, had a great weak-side rotation for a block, hit an extension lay in traffic after blocking a shot at the other end, and showed solid bounce to snag several O boards and hit a few putbacks. Bahr sees the floor well and has the skillset to play 1-4 at the JV level, switching well defensively and proving that he can be effective both from the block and from the perimeter.

-Thought he really flipped the game for the Panthers as the third guard coming off the bench, scoring 11 points in his first 4 minutes of playing time to put PVI up before halftime. Sabrick knocked down three C+S 3s to get himself going, had a nice high pickup lay in transition, and collected a big steal and C2C lay in transition to start the 4Q. He will need to improve his ball-handling and lateral quickness but when you combine his length with his skillset and athleticism-- he can be a name to watch in the 2028 class for a PVI program that has churned out some good wings.
