While the high schoolers were in Philly, the 13 & 14U teams were down in Wilmington, putting on great performances at the Chase Fieldhouse. Take a look at several of the prospects who put their names on the map:

Javon Artis | Vito Venom 13u

Artis proved to be a well-rounded basketball player, able to play with and without the ball. His high feel for the game enabled him to contribute as a rebounder, shotmaker and playmaker for others. And based on his talent, it maked sense that Artis saw the floor some with Vito's 14U team as well.

CJ Ballard | [program_tooltip program_id='3046395' first='Delaware' last='Certified Hoopers'] 13U

A physical combo guard, Ballard showed toughness and knocked down shots. Initiating offense for his team, he pulled from deep off-the-dribble while also getting a steady diet of paint touches. And even when shots didn't fall, Ballard brought energy as an aggressive defender, forcing on-ball turnovers and getting out on transition.

Amare Carter | [program_tooltip program_id='2450598' first='WeR1' last=''] 13U

Saturday, Carter was like a tank on wheels because of how much force he played with and his activity.bHe dominated in the post as a scorer, rebounder and shot-blocker. Carter demonstrated some ability to create off-the-bounce too, attacking other forwards in space and getting to the hoop or making plays for his teammates.

Samir Gilmetdinov | Vito Venom 13U

One of the taller players on his team, Gilmetdinov combined skill and activity off-ball. Defensively, he blocked shots to limit the opposing team's effectiveness of the paint, in addition to deflecting passes and grabbing boards. And on offense, he ran the floor on fastbreaks and spaced the floor from three.

Kendall Horton | [program_tooltip program_id='3046395' first='Delaware' last='Certified Hoopers'] 13U

Horton is still growing into his body, but he still used his physical tools to impact the game in a big way. He consistently cleaned the glass, either to cap off possessions on defense or to create second-chance opportunities on offense. Even more so, Horton rejected a handful of shots and altered several others.

Braydyn McKoy | [program_tooltip program_id='3046395' first='Delaware' last='Certified Hoopers'] 13U

McKoy's motor played fueled his team and his big performance versus an in-state foe. He did a lot of damage in transition. Whether it started with him getting a defensive rebound or a steal, McKoy always pushed the pace to capitalize on fastbreaks. In the halfcourt, made shots by getting to his spots in the second level and stretching the floor from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='3579317' first='Chace' last='Tate'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2450598' first='WeR1' last=''] 13U

Tate wasn't the biggest guard out there, but he brought a lot of grit and savvy, which made up for it. He applied a ton of pressure at the defensive point-of-attack, using his quick feet to beat his man to spots and his quick hands to rip the ball away. The edge he played with was evident on offense too, where he beat the press and set the table for his team.

Chase Thornton | [program_tooltip program_id='2450598' first='WeR1' last=''] 13U

Thornton wasn't just a shooter, but he definitely got hot from deep. He drained threes from the corner and, when that wasn't available, hit from the mid-range too. And, outside of that, he contributed on the glass, including offensive rebounds that he putback for two.
