Eric Ottens Shootout: More Top Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fulton, IL - The 2025 Eric Ottens Memorial Shootout was a great day to witness a lot of well rounded basketball talent. The games did not disappoint with many highly competitive successful teams taking the court. I checked out 4 of the 8 games which featured teams with a combined record of 123-35. Pretty confident when he catches it down low and had plenty of finishes today in the paint. Had a nice cut and finish with an And 1. Can catch and shoot the 3 and score for his team but will dribble and kickout for assists as well per his positional duties. Took an offensive charge and plays the game with some fire and passion. Seemed to step it up defensively against a 6'8 talented opposing player. Not a big body but team really depends on him to not come out of the game and be a hard laborer down low. Made atleast 5 3's in the first half while shooting it at a high clip. Took some longer range shots that he was comfortable shooting. Is deceptively able to handle the ball well while receiving pressure from the defense. Most importantly helps creatte the up pace tempo style his team endures to play with in the break phase of the offense. Will out hustle his opponent and grinds it out defensively to create turnovers. Was more offensively potent than last week with a rebound put back and a spin move on the block for a finish. Will grab a rebound off his own miss and is really comfortable in finding the open man for scores.
