The Raiders won a fun, close one Friday night and there was talent all over the court. We ranked those top ten performances right now!

One. [player_tooltip player_id='1310206' first='Tommy' last='Ahneman'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (Sr). Tommy is the most impossible player to stop in Minnesota right now. His combination of size, body control, good footwork, hands and agility at his size continues to be too tough for anybody to deal with. CDH is doing a great job getting him high-low touches and because Tommy is so big and holds his position so well, he can get those touches from high-low passes that come from above the arc. It reminds me of how STA used to use Bryce Webster with high low/job touches. Ahneman scored 25 points on 11 of 19 shooting with 15 rebounds, and I actually thought TG did a good job defending Tommy, but there is only so much they can do without a center with size. And teams that have a center with size have not been able to do anything with him either. Headed to Notre Dame.

Two. [player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (Jr). This was the best game I have seen Mitchell play in some time. Likely most important, he hit threes. Five of them. When Mitchell is hitting threes CDH goes from insanely hard to guard, to impossible to guard. Mitchell scored 21 points on 9 of 17 shooting but he was the main player sending Tommy high low passes or low pass from so many different angles. Mitchell had nine assists and most of them went to Tommy.

Three. [player_tooltip player_id='1574227' first='Chace' last='Watley'] of Totino-Grace (Sr). I'm not sure if Chace was always this level of scorer and TG/Pulley had good players around him so it was not as obvious to notice, or if he's worked really hard and found a groove with TG need more offense from him, or... both. Whatever the case he is making shots that continually have me thinking, wow. Jumpers and attacks. That said, I feel like when I see TG at their best, Chace doesn't have to score around 30 (had 28 points on 10 of 20 shooting) but when some others aren't in that groove, he needs to score a high number and Friday night, they almost won with Watley scoring a near 30 number. Headed to Wofford.

Four. [player_tooltip player_id='2126154' first='Julian' last='Smith'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (Soph). As the game hit it's mid-point I thought TG started to find defend Tommy okay, [player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] didn't have his usual game, and CDH needed a boost and I thought Smith gave them that boost. He hit four threes in the game that were very important plus he put the game away at the foul line late. It as a 17 point, four assists game for Smith.

Five. [player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (Soph). This was not Ty's best game as he had a rougher shooting stretch late and he wasn't as strong on the glass as usual. That said, it really says something when he doesn't have his best game and he still gives you 16 points on 8 of 15 shooting with five boards.

Six. [player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace (Fr). I thought the book was wrong and Zoa hit two threes and had three scores in the paint. Maybe I mistook a score from somebody else as Daniel on the video feed but either way, I thought Zoa handled himself pretty well scoring a dozen in this game. Hitting a couple threes nonetheless. Throw in five rebounds, interesting performance.

Seven. Dothan Ijaimbola of Totino-Grace (Jr). I would guess Dothan played... about 19 or 20 minutes? And in those minutes he scored on four of six shots including a couple jumpers with touch, grabbed seven rebounds and had four assists. That's pretty good production on a balanced team in 20 minutes against the best team in state.

Eight. [player_tooltip player_id='1560835' first='Tian' last='Chatman'] of Totino-Grace (Jr). Chatman also played 20 minutes about it seemed and he had a couple off ball active scores at the rim, made a few defensive plays, hit a three, grabbed six rebounds and scored nine points overall. The flashes of his agility and activity are impressive, there is going to be a day where we saw that across 28 minutes and the impact is huge.

Nine. [player_tooltip player_id='2126117' first='Malachi' last='Hill'] of Totino-Grace (Soph). Rough shooting day from Hill but he did have five assists and a dozen points but he missed nine of 14 looks overall.

Ten. [player_tooltip player_id='2405321' first='Vince' last='Jacob'] of Totino-Grace (Sr). Had a couple jumpers made early, rebounded solid grabbing five.
