Playoff Central. In Section 1A we have the round of sixteen so the pressure is on, and Section 3A has pigtails games this evening. It's playoff time!

In 1A I have my eyes on Schaeffer Academy and Mabel-Canton. [player_tooltip player_id='1889041' first='Luke' last='Friese'] leads Schaeffer with 27 points a game but they are the 12-seed and have to face a very balanced 18-win Mabel-Canton team led by senior Isaac Underbakke.

The 3A pigtail games are seeds seven, eight, nine and ten.

The Big Stage. The round of sixteen in 1AA has a monster game, and that is Chatfield taking on Lake City. Chatfield is a 17-9 team led by 6'3 junior [player_tooltip player_id='2984140' first='Carson' last='Harstad'] who is scoring 22 points a game for this team. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2435184' first='Ross' last='Stoehr'] is scoring 17 points a contest supporting Harstad. Overall Chatfield is a team led by juniors and sophomore, and a team to really watch for the future. Then you have Lake City, a team that is 13-12 but capable of more led by [player_tooltip player_id='2126464' first='Gavyn' last='Lorenson']. Its the game of the night.

The games between Cotter, who was ranked in the top ten at one point, and Dover-Eyota led by 23ppg junior [player_tooltip player_id='2138701' first='Mat' last='Matejka'], as well as 15-win teams from Caledonia and St. Charles, are also big games to keep an eye on.

Upset City. There were three pigtail games on Tuesday and the higher seed won all of them.

Top Performers. How about Lourdes going at La Crescent winning 95-94 on Tuesday night! Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2747286' first='Elijah' last='Hust'] exploded for 42 points and 14 rebounds getting Lourdes to the next round. Hust is a 6'2 guard that has had a good year but this was the performance of a lifetime that his team needed. It offset the 30 points scored by [player_tooltip player_id='2559388' first='Keaton' last='Holter'].

Tip of the Hat to the Career. We stay with Holter who is the best senior that was eliminated on Tuesday night. Holster had the game of his career to finish his career for La Crescent and walked out of the gym with respect .
