David showed a lot of his offensive game over the weekend. He had a handful of impressive finishes that showcased his craftiness and athleticism. He knocked down threes at an impressive clip as well. David is elite in space and is a difficult guy to stay in front of. Ryan is one of the best shooters in the DMV, with elite range and a quick release. Ryan can score as a creator off the dribble, and I like his motor. Ryan had 25 points on only nine shots from the field, and he knocked down 6 of his 8 field goals from three. Nate had some nice finishes as a driver, and he hit a few long-range jumpers. Nate's footwork is elite, and he showed that when he navigated the post or paint. He hit a few tough one-legged shots and showed why he's a top 5 player in the country. Akbar is a great shooter, and he can get his own when attacking the rim. He had a tough and 1 that was preceded by a bucket he had earlier to cut into Highland's lead. Akbar is a good passer and competes on defense as well. Similar to his brother Steven, Sinan moves well for a 7-footer, and he has an impressive set of skills for his size. He knocks down threes, puts the ball on the floor to attack the rim, and of course, with his size, he can get you points inside. Huan has great footwork, and he did a great job guarding [player_tooltip player_id='1591317' first='Nate' last='Ament'] at times.
