Prep Hoops took in some games on the final day of the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, SC. Who did we end up watching play? How did the games turn out? Who played well? Prep Hoops was in attendance and caught [player_tooltip player_id='1782657' first='Neiko' last='Mundey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2242399' first='Cameron' last='Mise'] both really have solid games.

Prince George's Christian Academy defeated Berean Baptist Academy (NC) 74-55.

Mundey a guard finished with 29 points on (11-19) shooting from the floor. Neiko who has received several High Majors is a shot-maker on the floor. Mundey is scorer who can finish at the rim and just generally make tough shots on the floor.

Mise was nearly perfect today (12-16) from the floor while connecting on (3-4) from downtown to finish with 28 points. Mise a UNSIGNED Senior guard has limited recruitment according to the coaching staff. Cameron really showed a quick release while possessing good shot selection at all times. That should surely change with his play here at the Beach Ball Classic this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1900239' first='Justin' last='Caldwell'] led Berean Baptist Academy with 20 points and 8 rebounds in the loss. The left-handed Sanders has a very good overall skill set with his ball handling and decision-making skills. He can rebound the ball or make that extra pass to a teammate. Josiah will rebound the ball on both ends of the court very effectively.

Pace Academy Gets by Our Savior Lutheran:

Pace Academy (TX) sneaked by Our Savior Lutheran (NY) on the final day of games at the Beach Ball Classic 48-45. Aeneas has a nice touch on the floor and really shows to have a good skill set from the perimeter. He was able to knockdown some three-pointers while handling the rock at times today.

[player_tooltip player_id='1809881' first='Amari'Yunn' last='Blythe'] is originally from the State of Michigan. Bythe was able to finish with 9 points here today. Blythe is a very athletic young man who has a quick 1st step to the basket. He plays the game with a very good motor and constantly looks to be in the middle of all the action. He previously attended Beecher HS in Flint, MI.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021787' first='Lyndell' last='Buckingham'] was the table-setter here today for Pace Academy. Buckingham a point guard is really quick side to side with the ball in his hands. He really likes to operate with his left-hand at the rim despite being right-handed.

Lions Defeat Rough Riders for 2nd Time this Month:

The Winston Salem Christian Lions defeated the Balboa School Round Riders 66-53 on the final day of action at the Beach Ball Classic. Floyd has a great frame to finish at the rim. Bradley was able to get downhill and finish strong at the bucket for the Lions.

Pissis came off the bench and only played 15 minutes but provided instant offense. Alex is a very confident shooter from behind the arc. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1280937' first='Tyson' last='Thompson'] plays his game down low in the paint. Thompson finished with 11 points while scoring all of his buckets 2 feet in from the rim. Tyson is the son of Winston Salem State University Men's Basketball Coach Corey Thompson.

[player_tooltip player_id='1645094' first='Elton' last='James'] added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the win today. Caetano is quick with the ball and really likes to use the bounce pass to find an open teammate. Paulo will take a charge at times and surely looks to run down every loose ball it seems.

[player_tooltip player_id='2715055' first='BwaBwa' last='Josue'] from Congo, Africa arrived back in June 2024 here in the United States.
