<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Monday the latest PHI Class of 2027 Rankings were unveiled!&nbsp; We examine the sophomore class in depth this week including here in <strong>2027 Rankings: Top Post Prospects</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125634' first='Hayden' last='Schroeder'] (Wheaton Academy)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schroeder sits at the top of the class for the big men in the 2027 class.&nbsp; He has athleticism, skill, and toughness at the power forward spot.&nbsp; Assertive post moves including hook shots and spin moves.&nbsp; Handles it well for his size.&nbsp; Plus shooter from three and has some passing instincts.&nbsp; Rebounds well in his area.&nbsp; Efficient player!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2391672' first='Jeffrey' last='Hassan'] (Kaneland)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Plus athlete at the center spot that can impact the game on both ends of the floor.&nbsp; He is a major rim protector with his shot blocking prowess.&nbsp; Timing and anticipation on that end of the floor is very impressive.&nbsp; Snatches rebounds in traffic.&nbsp; Offensively he is at his best as a rim runner, lob threat, and finisher out of the dunker spot.&nbsp; The skill level has flashed.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] (Glenbrook South)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fuller is a floor stretching big man that can really let it fly from distance.&nbsp; He has put up pretty consistent production as a sophomore big man.&nbsp; Can play inside and out, but he is at his best as a floor stretching big that can hit shots with consistency which is going to really peak the interest of college coaches.&nbsp; Strong area rebounder and brings toughness inside.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2455406' first='Kevinas' last='Salkauskas'] (Stagg)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is one of the more interesting cases we have seen in recent memory.&nbsp; Salkauskas is a no doubt D1 prospect, but he and his younger brother neither play high school basketball.&nbsp; Instead they play in a men's league.&nbsp; Regardless we have seen him enough in travel ball and in camp settings to love the combination of strength, size, and skill.&nbsp; He can shoot it at a good clip from deep, pass it, and is a super efficient low post player with excellent footwork along with touch.&nbsp; Rebounds in volume as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
