The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is annually one of the best events to check out young talent each fall. This year was no different. Here I examine prospects that made noise in Pangos Frosh/Soph Camp: 2030s Put Name on Map!

[player_tooltip player_id='2369890' first='Chad' last='Carter Jr'] (Chi-Prep, IL – 2030)

Carter is a 6'4” wing that has good size for position. The 8th grader has a long and lanky frame. Really like the upside on the defensive end as he moved his feet on the perimeter making it tough for drivers along with getting steals for transition layups. Shot selection could use some work, but definitely intriguing tools to work with here!

Stan Strong (Chi-Prep, IL – 2030)

Strong is a smaller point guard at 5'8” who puts a lot of pressure on the ball creating turnovers leading to points. Solid passing feel. Plays well in transition. Capable shooter both pulling up and off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393299' first='Duain' last='Johnson'] (Yorkville Christian, IL – 2030)

Johnson has excellent size and strength for an 8th grader at 6'4”. Plays inside and out. Still figuring out his game, but there are tools to work with as he can knock in a mid-range jumper.

Elijah McKinnie (Freedom Academy, IL – 2030)

McKinnie is a 2030 guard that is listed at 6'0”. Quality shot maker hitting a step back three along with a nice pull up jumper. Got to the line well too.

Jack Huffman (Hillsdale Academy, MI – 2030)

This 6'6” post is a great offensive rebounder that had an array of put backs. Finished on rolls to the hoop and with good touch in the paint in general. Shot blocking potential.

Aiden Oullette (Brampton City Prep, CAN – 2030)

This 6'6” post is an 8th grader with legit size and strength already. Thick frame and he knows how to use it which makes up for lack of ideal athleticism. Finished with strength around the hoop and was a quality shot blocker.

Jael Kabeya (Royal Crown, CAN – 2030)

Kabeya is explosive getting to the rim. He has good size at 6'6” with shot making ability hitting a turnaround jumper and step back three. Finished well off dump off passes.

A'mare Lammie (Royal Crown, CAN – 2030)

Lammie impressed for an 8th grader. The 5'7” guard banged in a plethora of pull up jumpers while also getting in the lane with his speed.
