Mielenz has put on a clinic to start the season, arguably the most effective perimeter shooter in the 5A as of now. Contributing threes at a rate some athletes convert at the rim (48%), he has made it clear that he means business at the varsity level. At his best operating within a couple dribbles, the guard gets to his spots for jumpers more often than not, although he can attack the paint when needed. The shooting guard is now up to 19 points and 5 rebounds per game for Green Mountain.

Scrivani is far from just a shooter, albeit one of the more impactful perimeter scorers in this class. Dependable handling opposing pressure at the point of attack, his comfort handling the ball with either hand alongside the notable change of pace makes him a difficult backcourt name to contain at the point of attack. His handle allows him to get downhill with ease, comfortably attacking baseline for corner kick outs or other one-handed passes when needed.

Schrecengost continues to provide efficient shooting, smart decision making, and high energy defense along the perimeter. Playing a valuable role for Standley Lake's success through their season, the guard has taken the lead guard role in stride. He has been among the most efficient sophomore shooters in this class, at 44% from distance, further opening up driving lanes or opportunities for entry passes within the halfcourt.

The lanky guard has been an efficient shotmaker for this Palmer Ridge group, second in points per game in his second season at the varsity level. Comfortable attacking the rim off the rip or aided from a ball screen, the guard is comfortable scoring against close-up contests. Showing upside as a finesse scorer in tight spaces, particularly with the floater, Connors looks to be an important name in Palmer Ridge's context for the coming seasons. Through his first month in the season, the guard has posted 13 points per game.

As Longmont's best perimeter shooter so far this season, Gaddis has held his own through his initial opportunities. The scoring guard is most comfortable from distance, bringing a smooth release off the catch, dependable regardless of the incoming contest. Contributing 9 points with 44% from distance, Gaddis is certainly an influential name to know within this class and the Granite Peaks League.

Dykstra continues to provide steady floor spacing with 5-3 Northglenn, at his best off the catch. Comfortable against incoming contests, the guard brings plenty of confidence at this stage. The guard brings a high motor on the defensive side, quickly getting back in transition to contest shots or while maneuvering into position for rebounds.

Franklin brings size to make opposing forwards work for their attempts in the paint, bringing a unique skill set given his efficient spot-up shooting at this stage. Still a high motor name who is tasked with guarding up and down opposing lineups, Franklin will be a crucial part of Northglenn's success through the coming seasons, posting 8 points per game this season.
