Our highest ranked newcomer, Ross has a ton of potential coming up to Ohio from Georgia. Put it simply, Ohio doesn't get guys at Ross' height that move like he does. His ability to rim run and finish lob dunks and protect the rim is very intriguing and he's starting to continue to develop new aspects of his game as a passer and floor spacer. For Ross, the biggest jump he'll make will be in the weight room as he needs to add weight and muscle to bang with more physical bigs in the paint. He's got the time to do that before he arrives on a college campus.

The first time I watched Williams I was impressed with his ability as a connective wing to attack closeouts, use his quick twitch athleticism and make plays on both ends. As I've seen him progress this fall, I've seen him become more confident as a primary ball handler and playing with pace. Williams has seen his recruitment start to take off in the past few months and I expect that interest to continue to grow.

I got to see Powell at the All Ohio Hoops Showcase to start the OHSAA season just a few weeks ago. It was my first chance to see him play and I was impressed by his strong frame and scoring ability. Coming to Ohio from the New England area, Powell had a strong reputation as a nationally ranked on 247 and rivals and finds himself in our top 10 to begin. I've only gotten one in person evaluation so expect Powell's ranking to fluctuate as I continue to watch him develop and add more concrete opinions about his game.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch Mack with Akron Buchtel to begin the OHSAA season but I did see him in the month of June with the Griffs and the upside is obvious with him. Few players at Mack's size can move like he can with the change of direction and speed on the ball. When Mack shows off his scoring ability, he can take over games offensively. Another player I have an extremely limited scouting sample with, I'll be sure to monitor his progression when he's on the court this winter, I should see Buchtel play early in the new year.

Miles is technically a new addition after we removed him from our rankings due to his transfer to Huntington Prep. Miles is back at Emmanuel Christian in Toledo and has had a fast start to his season. One of the most talented scorers in Ohio's 2026 class, Miles can knock down shots from the perimeter, play above the rim and use his strength to finish around the basket. A name Toledo area basketball fans already know well, we're happy to have Miles back in Ohio to further add to the depth of Ohio's 2026 class.
