James Hammond is a solid piece to the Patterson Mill team. Caught him at The Challenge making a big impact in the paint. He was getting inside at his own discretion and could finish through the contact well. Had multiple and-1's through his game and he was a coast-to-coast threat after pulling down the defensive rebound. A consistent in-between jumpshot could really help his offensive game improve, would make loading up on him less effective as a defensive tactic. Has good enough handle and body control to make his way to the rim.

Washington plays his role very nicely on a strong national team. Comes into the game and plays good rotational defense and grabs rebounds to start the break. His natural athleticism gives him the ability to seamlessly create positive outcomes for his team. He is a reliable shooter, athletic and strong at the basket, and lets his offense come to him as the game flows. Really liked what I saw from the senior forward in a somewhat new role at PG Christian Academy (formerly Shabach).

Seward is an athletic big man who makes his way to the ball consistently while he's out on the floor. Cleans the glass very well defensively and is good for around 2-5 offensive rebounds routinely. Still working on finishing inside with regularity, but has good hands and will collect rebounds off his teammates misses. He has stretches where he can be the most physical presence in the game, hunting down shots both defensively and offensively. Very impactful outing in his first official game of the season with Cardozo.

Very active player. Seems to always find himself near the ball making a play on offense and defense both. Very good timing and rebounding instincts with a quick jump that helps him outwork others for the ball. Will score points from hitting the glass and cutting to the basket on the offensive end. Doesn't need offense ran through him to be an impactful player but has the ability to put the ball down and create baskets for himself from time to time. Always brings defensive tenacity to the floor.

When Matthew Chaplain exerts full effort on defending cleanly and attacking the glass, Concordia does better as a whole team. Chaplain has length that poses problems for opponents when trying to get into their offense. He can also get things done offensively, finishes well at the cup under pressure and runs the break well. Can shoot the ball from range when given the space. Good floor-spacing instinct and plays his role well on the floor. Intriguing forward to watch over the years.

Wiley gets it done as the starting big on a stacked Mt. Zion roster. His defensive presence is very evident when he's roaming the paint protecting the hoop. If Wiley maintains the discipline to stay out of foul trouble, he is one of the more effective players on the floor. He makes smart passes to his guards and owns the boards in spurts. Wiley can step out and knock down open shots on the perimeter when the defense gets lazy, but is most effective rolling to the basket as the P&R man or cleaning up a missed shot and putting it back up for two. His skill on both ends is nothing to look past when he can get consistent minutes and catch rhythm.

Kendrick makes timely plays for AAC time and time again. Shows great touch and feel around the basket and can really get going when the guards look for him. He has good perimeter skill enough to handle the ball and shield defense on his way to finishing. Strong inside the paint, can impose his will against smaller defenders when patient. Evident to see Tchetafon's positive impact on the team when he is in the game. Nice starting forward for an underrated AACHS team.
