This past weekend from December 6th-8th, Zero Gravity New England hosted the Zero Gravity Prep Classic at the Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Over 70 prep school teams from the New England region and beyond faced off in competitive games during the three-day extravaganza in front of fans, media, scouts, and college coaches from all over the country and all division levels. Numerous players performed well throughout the weekend, but here is part two of my personal eye-catchers from the Zero Gravity Prep Classic!

[player_tooltip player_id='1532413' first='Xavier' last='Abreu'] had some brilliant offensive flashes playing both on and off the ball. On the ball, he was getting inside for layups and hitting shots off the dribble from the mid-range. Off the ball, he was spacing the floor for his team and hitting timely three-point shots in key moments which kept the Phillips Andover offense humming. He also had a huge slam dunk on the fast break which emphatically showcased his bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325762' first='Yancarlos' last='Cueto'] and his high-level shot-making were on display in front of an eager and tuned-in crowd. He created open looks for himself by using his tight handle to his off-the-dribble mid-range shot, which was pure. He relocated to the open space well when playing off the ball and hit some crucial open threes during the important stretches of the game. Additionally, he made some great passes too with feeds to cutters in the half-court and finding leak-outs on the break.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470930' first='Ethan' last='Njenga'] had some awesome moments on the offensive end. Constantly attacking the rim with ferocity, he was playing through contact and finishing well around the basket. When the defense started to send double teams, he would leverage that pressure well by finding the open man on the outside with kickouts and racked-up assists with this strategy. His confidence stood out to me as well and it was great to see him thrive in a complementary role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532412' first='Dylan' last='Veillette'] continued to look the part of a dynamic forward who can provide a well-balanced approach on the basketball court. He impressed me offensively with his ability to hit the open three when left wide open, driving the basket for easy scores, and pushing the pace in transition with long outlet passes. He was also a bulldog defensively guarding the perimeter and rebounded his position well with great effort. His attitude and leadership also stood out, as he cheered for his teammates and brought a sense of confidence to the hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325770' first='Allyn' last='Wright'] was steady and provided stability to the St. George's offensive attack. He moved the ball around in the half-court when he had the ball in his hands, finding the right man at all times and giving his teammates wide-open shot attempts. He also made a nice reverse layup through traffic which was sweet, along with some defensive flashes by making steals in the passing lanes by using his smart timing and anticipation skills.
