Here's the hottest names in recruiting per BlueChips Nation in West Virginia in all classes. These players have all the momentum going into season with college coaches looking for contact and film. This year has proven much different as recruiting activity usually quiets a bit in the Mountain State but it is as hot as ever here right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='1309597' first='Xavier' last='Kirk'] name has been abuzz for a few months now. Performing at a high level during his AAU season on the HGSL circuit, playing for BlueChips Nation at Anderson Court fall league as well as literally shutting down opponents in Hedgesville first three games, Kirk has been hitting on all cylinders for awhile. Already sporting some offers, WV Weslyan came in hot this month with an offer for the high academic 2025 combo-guard. Look for Kirk to get offers from the other high academic MEC schools very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528455' first='Levi' last='Wanless'] quickly gained interest while playing for his school team as well as BlueChips at Anderson Court from a handful of D3 programs, but lately his hometown D2 MEC program of Davis & Elkins has taken an interest. And why not, great student, high character and he can ball! Look for Wanless to get plenty of recruiting traction through March.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241522' first='Drew' last='Fitzwater'] has had a nice group of offers from different levels as well as excellent showing during AAU and showcases. Fitzwater recently drew attention from one of the country's top JUCO programs according to BlueChips Nation and they immediately made contact. The sharp ascent of Fitzwater's recruiting in the summer before ever making a high school start and now two games into his senior year getting strong interest from one of the nation's top JUCO's could be directly linked to Fitzwater's time with WV Reign and coach Nuzum who has long history of propelling projects into prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241497' first='Keshaun' last='Cheek'] is yet another player that got immediate interest from the top 10 JUCO. Cheek's recruiting has been slow but the coaches at said juco were immediately ready to review film. Cheek is college ready physically with a game to match. Very quick first step as well as great vision with paint touches. Cheek doesn't hesitate to knock it down from downtown either. Keshaun also has some D3 interest in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='1851905' first='Roman' last='Kellum'] is the third player identified by the top 10 JUCO as communicated by BlueChips Nation that recieved very high praise upon first look. Anyone that's seen Roman play knows he can take a game over or put a game outta reach in a matter of minutes. He has incredible length and athleticism as well as basketball IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='2243492' first='Dazon' last='Reid'] has become red hot in the recruiting world since his move to Huntington Prep this fall. Playing with WV's top 2025 certainly helps in that cause, but Reid has carved his own niche as a do it all point guard and showing how smoothly he operates as a point guard. D1's have quickly gained interest and as reported in the HP review, Dayton seems to have Dazon as a priority for their 2027 board.
