One of the top risers nationally in the 2026 class, Sancomb has taken his game to a new level over the past 4 months and has added a state championship trophy and numerous Division I offers to his resume. The best passer I saw all weekend, Sancomb makes passes from so many different angles and sets. Whether it’s passing it out of the post, making a jump pass to freeze the defense or just a simple outlet pass to a streaking teammate, Sancomb is putting the ball on target where his teammates can make a play. Sancomb’s touch is also incredibly impressive as his floaters and layups seem to usually drop around the rim. While mid major programs have made Sancomb a priority, high major programs are closely monitoring his development as well.

One of the biggest stock risers on the Puma Circuit nationally this grassroots season, Sancomb has taken his game to another level. Athletically is where I think Sancomb has taken the biggest jump as he looks quicker and stronger than the player I watched a year ago at the 16 U level. When you combine those athletic gains with exceptional passing ability and soft touch at the rim and Sancomb is one of the most impressive offensive engines on the Pro 16 circuit. Few players can execute half the passes Sancomb threw this weekend as he was fooling the defense consistently when he passed the ball. With the pace that West Virginia Gold play with, Sancomb got a bunch of open 3-point looks, which he converted at an efficient rate. Already holding three Division I offers, I expect Sancomb to have a few more in the coming weeks if he continues to play at this level.

Sancomb showcased his versatility throughout the game and had his fingerprints all over his teams win. He has a great feel for the game and process the game at an advanced clip. Sancomb had 22 points 10 assists, and 9 rebounds unofficially by my stats. By the time the defense could digest what he can do he is already onto his next stunt. I like the pace he plays at and he never gets sped up when bogeying to spots. He does a good job articulating to different spots on the floor off the bounce. He is comfortable getting into his mid-range bag and it is almost like a layup for him. He uses his long branchlike arms to shag rebounds and steals. He battled on the defensive end and held his own guarding a player who had several inches on him. He was constantly communicating and has a plays with a competitive chip on his shoulder and hates to lose. Sancomb is like a book every time you watch him you want to comeback for more. I would like to see Sancomb look to embrace contact on the way up and think he could spend more time at the foul line if he did so. There were a few times he was late on his rotations and might have been over extended on the defenseive end. I think Sancomb is a prospect who should be getting prioritized by LM+/MM- schools. His attributes translate to the next level and I think he is someone who college coaches shouldn’t overthink in the recruiting process.
