WV Reign 2026's traveled to Myrtle Beach with their underclassmen squads to do battle in the four-day double-session event in front of large crowds and several coaches. With a few new faces on the roster the Reign squad was still competitive and finished with a 1-2 record in each session while competing in the events highest division.

[player_tooltip player_id='2908206' first='Alexander' last='Broschart'] has been a solid role player with providing good minutes rebounding, passing out of the post and defending the post. Many games throughout the weekend he was tasked with guarding a bigger post and attacked it accordingly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2695190' first='Bowen' last='Rader'] is a guard smaller in stature but plays with alot of energy and motor. In Myrtle he left it all on the floor in every game. His willingness to make effort plays as well as keep the ball moving on offense makes him a weapon of his own. We loved his instant energy at the times he entered the game off the bench.

[player_tooltip player_id='2385111' first='Caden' last='Ours'] has continued to get buckets in every game and in Myrtle made it a point to get to the mid-range level shots and find spots he's comfortable with. Ours ballhandling progress and raw strength will determine his level after high school as he likely projects as a point guard. His talent never in question, and has some tools for a good foundation to get an opportunity at the college level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869449' first='Gabriel' last='Neal'] has been one of the most improved players on this roster and will likely reflect that come school season. Neal has steadily increased his offensive presence and started to understand what his game really is made up of. Neal scored consistently in Myrtle with multiple buckets in each. We like his game off the bounce that's starting to develop with a mid-range pull-up flavor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2908205' first='Jakob' last='Potter'] is a new face to the Reign roster and immediately made an impact on both ends. He did quite a job providing much needed muscle and depth across the front line. Potter gives great effort in his spurts off the bench and is efficient with the ball in his hands. A nice "glue guy" addition to the WV Reign roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303389' first='Jeremy' last='Phillips'] had some very high highs but also some moments we're sure he'd like back while facing some heavy ball pressure and defenses countering his strengths. Phillips has a great pull up in mid range game that is super efficient when he gets to his comfort zones to shoot in. Phillips is a twitchy and fast point guard prospect who has already bagged an offer and looking for more. He's certainly one that grades out and projects at the point guard spot and like others will need to set up shop in the weight room soon to secure some further offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2306139' first='Logan' last='Boyce'] has done some serious weight room work and put that work on display in Myrtle. We thought Boyce was very smooth and patient with the ball, controlled pace and was able to use his strength to not get put off his path to the bucket. Boyce could've been maybe even too passive offensively at times, but appreciate the fact he seamlessly slid over to play the off-guard and become a scoring threat to show his versatility.
