Another West Virginia native who really boosted his stock this weekend, Lewis was dunking everything at the rim on Saturday. When you hear shouts from the court across from you a few times you start to sometimes turn your head a little more to pay attention to multiple games at once, that’s what Lewis made me do on Saturday evening when he was going crazy against one of northeast Ohio’s most athletic teams. Lewis not also had numerous highlight-reel dunks but also showed impressive poise as a short roll option and passer, a central hub for the offense from the power forward position. A patient player as well, Lewis threw a couple pump fakes and pivots to get himself free to score near the paint. One of the top players from West Virginia, Lewis earned himself an offer from Robert Morris and interest from numerous other Division I programs after this weekend.

The number two player in West Virginia’s 2026 class, Lewis is a modern big man who can do a variety of things on the court. Lewis likes to faceup and attack off the dribble, using his size and frame to score at the rim. An impressive rebounder, Lewis consistently gets double-double type stat lines when I watch him play. Another area where Lewis is productive is on transition, where he usually outruns the opposing bigs down the court. This allows Lewis to get leakout layups and put himself in position to snag offensive rebounds as well. Really impressed with the production Lewis has shown me with WV Gold.

Ranked first in Prep Hoops West Virginia’s 2026 rankings, Lewis is already one of the most productive players in West Virginia as only a Sophomore last season. A physical forward who used his frame in the paint to create space against weaker defenders, Lewis wasn’t afraid to throw his body around. Also crashing the glass, Lewis got a ton of easy second chance points due to his size and being in the right positions to grab offensive rebounds. His flashiest bucket of the day was a euro-step finish but simple was the recipe for success a majority of the time. Holding an early offer from Radford, expect more regional programs to come into the mix either this summer or next winter for Lewis.
