PHI was at the Chicago Elite Classic over the weekend. There were a ton of prospects at the event with college potential. In this series we breakdown over 80 of them! Here is Chicago Elite Classic: 2026 Wings!

[player_tooltip player_id='2105360' first='Lincoln' last='Williams'] (Kankakee)

Williams is the top 2026 prospect in the state and proved it with a big performance at the Chicago Elite Classic against highly ranked Bolingbrook. Long and athletic wing is playing with a lot of confidence after a summer where he established as the top guy in the junior group. The aggressiveness was shown as he crashed the offensive glass for put backs and had slick takes off the dribble slicing up the defense. Covers a lot of ground with his long strides in both the half court and transition. Threw down a pair of big dunks back to back. The jumper wasn't on as much as we had previously seen, but other than that he was really good. Also defended at a high level on the perimeter. Williams had 19 points (7-13 FG), 8 rebounds, and 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617353' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] (Simeon)

One of the better performances we have seen from Tyler in a [program_tooltip program_id='2076046' first='Wolverines' last=''] uniform. This was our first time seeing him this high school season and the junior seemed more focused on the task at hand. The talent is undeniable with his length, athleticism, and ability to score from all three levels. Threw down a big alley-oop early in the game. Slick slashes, euro steps, and was fouled on an explosive baseline take. Always plays well in transition and hit 1-3 from beyond the arc. Went for 16 points (5-11 FG) and 4 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105396' first='Cameron' last='Mercer'] (Riverside Brookfield)

Mercer was a prospect we were really looking forward to evaluating at CEC. There is a lot to like with this shooting guard from Riverside Brookfield. Liked the aggressiveness he brought off the dribble getting to the rim for slashes finishing and-1s and other strong takes. Moves well without the basketball in his hand. Can post up using his quickness. Got to the foul line at a solid rate. Finished with 19 points (6-16 FG) and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552436' first='Karson' last='Thomas'] (Marist)

Thomas is the go to guy for Marist with two of their front court pieces out. The strong bodied and athletic small forward had a big game against Hyde Park knocking in 2-3 from beyond the arc as he continues to get better each time we see him with his shot making. Good slsher that is strong with the ball through traffic. Finished on a back cut, was physical on the glass, and made an impact on the defensive end. Went for 18 points (7-10 FG) and 7 rebounds. D1 talent for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323264' first='Kassidy' last='Nelson'] (Simeon)

Nelson is a wing that has flown a bit under the radar, but we have been fans of since we saw him in this same event one year ago. Playing with confidence as two way wing tht can impact with efficiency offensively and as a perimeter defender. Drained a three off the catch, step back two, and got loose in transition for several finishes. He had 13 points (4-5 FG).

Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] (Lincoln Park)

[player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] continues his assent from the summer with a strong start to his junior season. The shooting guard from Lincoln Park is a natural scorer that has a smooth offensive game. Drained a couple of jumpers along with a sweet floater in this game. Like how he played both on and off the ball showcasing more of a playmaking feel to his game than we had previously seen. Did turn it over a few times as well which he will need to cut down, but the talent of a potential D1 wing is definitely there. He had 12 points (4-10 FG), 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 6 turnovers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617415' first='Kaydin' last='Williams'] (Lincoln Park)

Williams had a breakout performance in our eyes with the way he played on Friday night. The 6'2” shooting guard was outstanding with his three point shooting creating off the dribble draining them one after another. Smooth release with elevation off the floor. Also mixed in some mid-range pull ups and floaters. Good passer as well that pushed in the open floor and had a couple live dribble dimes finishing with 21 points (7-10 FG) (5-7 3PT), 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2734375' first='Jaylen' last='Dickerson'] (Lincoln Park)

Dickerson is another 6'2” guard that caught our attention with his play for Lincoln Park. He has a really good feel in the mid-range as he poured them consistently. Smooth guard that can make things happen with his handles, has some passing flair, and was active defensively. He went for 14 points (6-10 FG), 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341349' first='Rokas' last='Zilys'] (Marist)

Zilys had a breakout performance for Marist. He was absolutely on fire from mid-range hitting one after another from 15-18 feet as he rose up over the defense with ease. Got to the foul line where he went 7-7. Struggled from three just hitting 1-7. Finished with 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

Kenaz Jackson (Kankakee)

Jackson is a PHI favorite after his summer play for 1Dream. The small forward has a smooth mid-range game that he makes look so easy. Can also attack from the mid-post putting it on the floor along with getting on the offensive glass. He had 11 points (5-15 FG) and 7 rebounds. D2s should start taking notice early in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] (Warren)

Walker could be the long term running mate next to Davis. With Banks out Walker had the opportunity to have a big game, but the shots would just not fall as he went 3-12 from the field and 2-7 from three. Does shoot a good ball from deep, but just had one of those days. Like what we saw out of him over the summer and will continue to monitor him after this 8 point outing.
