Wisconsin Valley Preview

In this article:
2023-24 Final Standings
1. Marshfield 12-0 (25-3): 2. Stevens Point 9-3 (23-4); 3. Wausau East 8-4 (19-8); 4. D.C. Everest 5-7 (12-14); 4. Wausau West 5-7 (15-10); 6. Wisconsin Rapids 3-9 (8-17); 7. Merrill 0-12 (8-18).
2024-25 Picks
1. Marshfield -- Three-time defending Wisconsin Valley champion Marshfield has lost exactly one game in league player over the past three seasons. Continued success is likely in 2024-25 as coach Chris Fischer has four starters and a couple of top reserves back from a squad that went 25-3. Leading the way for the Tigers is senior guard

(6-9) becomes eligible in late December after a transfer from Pacelli, the dynamic of the Panthers' team will change. Awe, a long, athletic prospect with a big upside, spent two-plus years at Pacelli and dominated at times for the Cardinals. He opted to transfer to Stevens Point over the Christmas break last year and has spent most of the time since recovering from an injury. But he is healthy going into the season and should be a big impact player for Stevens Point. Also making huge impacts for the Panthers are returning senior starters
