The highly anticipated new edition of the class of 2027 rankings have finally been released, with 75 players including over 20 new players to the list! As I've warned before, ranking classes before their junior season is very tricky, so consider this more of a continued starting point and not a final draft, as there are plenty of players who will emerge and improve and things will change a lot over the next few years.

Today, we take a look at part two of the wings rankings, looking at some of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='2353646' first='Simas' last='Kacerauskas'] | 6'4” SF | Episcopal (#40 Overall)

Kacerauskas is part of a talented young Episcopal team with a lot of intriguing prospects moving forward, and he's one of them as the Lithuanian native already has good size and an advanced game for someone his age. At 6'4” with good length he is able to get to spots and make contested shots off the bounce, he can move off the ball where he moves well and can make shots on the move and he's a crafty finisher around the rim too.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='2085877' first='Demarcus' last='Brown'] | 6'2” SG | Roanoke Catholic (#37 Overall)

Brown emerged throughout his freshman year as a go-to guy for RC, and the two sport star is one of the top athletes in the Roanoke area already as just a sophomore. At 6'2” he already is strong and athletic to get downhill and finish through traffic, he's a smooth handler who can get to spots and create space and he has tons of upside on the defensive end too.

11) Kamdon Brangmon-Cain | 6'1” SG | Gainesville (#36 Overall)

Brangmon-Cain is one of the highest upside prospects in the class in NOVA public schools, as he is a big time athlete who already has a good base skillset and isn't done growing or developing. At 6'1” he has long arms and is fluid getting up and down, he's an explosive leaper who can finish at and above the rim, he can stretch the floor off the catch and he's able to create for himself and others off the bounce.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='2548299' first='Isaiah' last='Savage'] | 6'1” SG | St. Michael (#32 Overall)

Savage is another super high upside prospect who has made waves throughout the preseason with his crazy athleticism for such a young prospect. At 6'1” he's nowhere near done growing but he already plays above the rim with ease and authority, he's deadly in transition with his speed and explosiveness, he plays with a great motor on both ends of the floor and he's just scratching the surface with what he can do offensively.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1574509' first='Jayden' last='Brown'] | 6'3” SG | STAB (#27 Overall)

Brown reclassified to the 2027 class at STAB after having a great summer playing 17U ball and with STAB in the live periods, and he's one of those players it should help because he's trending the in the right direction as of now. He went through a big growth spurt and in turn got much more athletic with it, he has improved a lot with his ability to knock down shots from deep, he's a good secondary ball handler and creator and he really thrives as an on ball defender too.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='2470566' first='Brady' last='Burnette'] | 6'2” SG | St. Chris (#26 Overall)

Burnette paid his dues as a freshman for the Saints on their cinderella run to the VISAA D1 Final Four last year, and this year he's going to be looked at to play a pivotal role for them which he seems ready for after his big summer with Team Loaded. Burnette is in the midst of a growth spurt and is becoming more fluid with it, he is a very good shooter from deep with range and confidence, he has improved in his ability to play on the ball and he provides a lot of toughness on both ends of the floor.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='2422471' first='Derrius' last='Jones'] | 6'6” SF | Blue Ridge (#24 Overall)

Jones is another player that reclassified to the 2027 class after helping lead Albemarle to a VHSL Class 5 semifinal appearance, and he's got a ton of upside moving forward and is now at a school that is well known for developing raw talent. At 6'6” he has a great frame and is a big time athlete who is dynamic in transition, he can hit open shots from deep, he has solid ball skills that will only get better and he has a very high ceiling as a lock down defender too.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='2470557' first='Dean' last='Williams'] | 6'4” SG | Catholic (#17 Overall)

Williams is going to be a part of a very talented Catholic team that will be in contention for the VISAA D1 state championship, and despite some recent injuries he's shown he is one of the most high upside prospects in the 757. The 6'4” wing has great physical tools with his length and frame, and has an advanced game for his age as well. He's a smooth wing who can drill it from deep off the catch, he gets to spots and can create space off the bounce, he's a sneaky athlete and has a great understanding of the game too.
