Top Unsigned Senior is Columbus - Part 1

The Columbus area is filled up with a ton of talent and a lot of the better talent in the state. With this being the case some really good players are not signed to colleges yet heading into their senior year. This article talks about those top unsigned seniors. Part 1.    Noles is a player who will end up at the college level because I think he is ready to make an instant impact once he gets there. He has a great size and free that allows this guard to be a physical mismatch for most guards. He gets to the rim with ease but also knocks down shots beyond the arc well. He is a high IQ kid with good playmaker ability. He has played in big games for DeSales over his high school career so he has a great poise and maturity to him.     McMorris is an athletic freak of a big man. His first season at Northland last year was one that his mismatch size showed. Not many were able to match the size and athleticism. He can do everything you want him to do on the floor athletically - block and alter shots along with grabbing rebounds. He finishes around the rim well. He has amazing length and I expect this year for him to show truly how much of a mismatch he is.     Spiva is a player I would want on my team instantly. He has a high motor with great defensive energy and intensity. He has great length that allows him to apply a ton of pressure and cause many turnovers if you are not strong with the ball. He is someone that disrupts games and can take them over. He also is a good finisher on the offensive end. He does not do too much with the ball and is efficient with his shot attempts.     I think this every time I watch Roddy play, not many point guards I'd take over him. As a pass-first point guard, he is as good as they come in my opinion. He sees the floor at all times and makes the right plays for his teammates. He never gets sped up and plays with a great pace. He has the ball on a string. He also has a good and solid build so he can absorb and dictate contact. When the defense helps too much he knows who to pass it to and then when they don't help he scores it.     Nicholas is a physical and athletic forward who reminds you of an old-school player. He is strong and likes to impose his will on you throughout the game. He crashes boards at the highest point with his leaping ability and length. He gets a ton of second-chance points. He is a great rim protector on the other end as well. He plays with a high motor. He is not the tallest forward but he can play big because of his mindset, length, and athleticism. He is not afraid to use a couple of his fouls too. He is someone that you know what you are going to get from him every game.     Bagley is a high-volume shooter and scorer. He is someone who can hang 25 plus on you easily on any given night. He has a ton of confidence and a great ability to make tough shots. He does a good job of getting to his spots on the floor and pulling up. He is someone who will not allow you the slow him down. He will have one of the highest points per game in the area.
