Noles is one of the best-unsigned seniors in the state and proved it in his last high school game. This kid is as tough as nails and plays hard. He does what it takes to win games. He is very selfless. He showed off the ability to create buckets from himself consistently in this one. When DeSales’ offense stagnated he was able to go get a bucket for himself. He was being face-guarded the whole game, so it was tough for him to get space, but he did when he needed to. Including a three-point shot to tie it up in regulation coming off 2 off-ball screens. He has a hip swivel off the dribble pull-up that is deadly with the rhythm he creates for himself. Then when he attacks the rim, his spin moves to either hand it is difficult to stop.

Noles is someone you just know is going to have a winning impact on the game. He knows how to manipulate and play the game in a way that helps his team win. He has a great size and build that allows him to play and guard any position on the floor. He guarded a 6’9 big kid and held his own. He has a high IQ and confidence in his game. He has a calming presence, and you trust the ball in his hands. He is a leader that you can see his teammates feed off of it. He did a good job of attacking pressure. He did it all on both ends of the floor for DeSales. Did a great job of rebounding.

Noles is a player who will end up at the college level because I think he is ready to make an instant impact once he gets there. He has a great size and free that allows this guard to be a physical mismatch for most guards. He gets to the rim with ease but also knocks down shots beyond the arc well. He is a high IQ kid with good playmaker ability. He has played in big games for DeSales over his high school career so he has a great poise and maturity to him.

Another Buckets prospect, Noles is a player who first got on my radar as a rising freshman playing for DeSales in June before his freshman year. I’ve been watching his journey closely as he started to really hit his stride towards the end of his sophomore season. After a Junior season where he started to shoot the 3-point shot with more confidence and volume, Noles became one of the most productive guards in central Ohio. A football standout as well, Noles has always had a strong frame and should be ready for the physicality that is demanded at the college level. Concord is Noles only posted offer on his twitter but other scholarship programs are sure to be involved with Noles before he makes a final decision.

Noles is a prospect who ended his Sophomore season with a string of strong performances and found his rhythm again with the Ohio Buckets in July. A big piece for their 17 U EYCL squad this coming spring, Noles will have the opportunity to be seen by college coaches from a variety of levels with this program. I like his size, decision making and strength from the lead guard position. A multi-sport athlete, Noles success on the gridiron is no surprise when you look at his frame and athleticism. Always like to bet on kids who make an impact in multiple sports at a high level and who are coachable, Noles checks both of those boxes. Making a leap as a perimeter shooter as well during the high school season, I’ll be interested to see how well he shoots it against better athletes during the grassroots season. I expect Noles to get heavy scholarship interest this spring and summer from college programs at a variety of levels.

Noles is the senior leader for DeSales and he does a lot of it all. DeSales made quite a comeback effort in the second half of their game against Hartley and Noles was leading those comeback efforts. He was doing all the same things and dirty work for DeSales to get them back into the game. The most impressive part of this was he was trusting his teammates to make baskets and plays. He was not trying to do it all himself. He was very vocal all game and showed a great competitive spirit. He was hitting big-time momentum threes. He is a big strong physical kid who got a lot of rebounds and is a tough player to stop when he is attacking the basket.

My performance of the day, Noles was everywhere for DeSales as they secured a huge road win over Westerville Central in a thrilling 51-50 victory. Noles scored in a variety of ways by getting to the basket and using his strength to finish off two feet. I was also impressed with how Noles went into contact and either got to the foul line or bounced off the defense to create space. The 3-point shot has always been inconsistent for Noles but he knocked down two huge ones in this game, showing signs of improvement in that aspect of his game. I expect Noles to be seen by scholarship programs across the region this spring and summer.

Noles came onto the scene early with strong performances as a freshman to debut early in our rankings. After a strong end to his Sophomore season and a good summer with the Ohio Buckets , Noles finds himself back moving up. A guard who has a good body to physically battle with older players at the high school level. His strength and athleticism also allows him to stand out on the gridiron as well for the Stallions. Gaining confidence as a perimeter shooter, his mechanics were always solid but he would occasionally go stretches without hitting from the outside. Now making 3-point shots more consistently off the bounce, I expect Noles to pick up where he left off and have a chance to break 20 PPG as a Junior. Would also expect scholarship programs to get aggressive with Noles starting next spring.

Noles hit a game winning shot in both Saturday games, coming in clutch when his team needed it. After a strong end to his sophomore season, Noles has picked up where he left off and is continuing to play with confidence. The biggest question for Noles will be how often he makes perimeter shots, he made a couple on Saturday but still could be more efficient from the perimeter. I liked some of the impact defensive plays he made as well, Noles has a good body for a rising Junior. Expect Noles to be one of the most productive players in the Central Catholic League this upcoming season.

Noles has physically taken a giant leap forward. He has not only gained height and weight but he has gained a ton of athleticism. He moves way quicker as well. This gained muscle has given him a ton of confidence. He attacks the rim harder and more aggressively. His leaping ability makes it easier for him. He had multiple tough and-1s. His jumper is also smooth as butter. He is a sniper but I wish he shot it more. It went every time he did. The ball was also barely hitting the rim when it was going in. Very nice player.
