Here were the Freshmen Standouts I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='2506445' first='Traveon' last='Banks'] Tucson (Pictured)

One of the top on-ball defenders in the class has close to an elite motor. He has incredible lateral quickness combined with some length and speed. He will blow by and then drive and kick it to a shooter. He will score with mid-range pull-ups off the dribble with a quick release plus hits the three. He is fast in the open court and he is one of those players who plays harder than most.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628288' first='Lucas' last='Anderson'] Ironwood Ridge

A good sized scoring guard is one of the top shooters in the state for the class. He has a pure stroke and will rattle off triples off the catch. He can get downhill using his size and score with his left or right but this guard wants to let it fly. He has good family lineage and don't be surprised to see him near six-foot six.

[player_tooltip player_id='2506450' first='Joshua' last='Salter'] Sahuaro

A scoring point guard is a two-way player. He is a good passer who finds teammates in stride. The lefty has a nice burst to the basket or will hesitate to get downhill. He can shoot the three and shows energy on defense. He will collect steals and even block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560316' first='Gage' last='Lindsley'] Sahuaro

A scoring guard is a pure scorer from all three levels. He had a good showing with mid-range pull-ups, threes with range beyond the arc and has a quick first step to get downhill to score with either hand. He is very competitive and is a good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2506438' first='Isaac' last='Teasley'] Sahuaro

A pure point guard who plays the game with a super high IQ and feel for the game. He is a quick ball handler who is a real needle threader with next level court vision. He will score with threes off the catch, quick drives and mid-range jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628381' first='Enzo' last='Castillo'] Tanque Verde

A long and lean combo guard is very confident. He is already on varsity and making some noise in Tucson with his skill. He will catch and shoot it from the three and score it off the dribble plus blow by a defender with a nice burst. He will defend with quicker feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628387' first='Joseph' last='Estrada'] Cienega

One of the bigger players in the class and tallest to start in Tucson. He moves well from end to end and although raw offensively he will block or alter many shots per game and rebound. He uses his athleticism and size to corral the ball off the glass and shows upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628384' first='Brayden' last='Streiter'] Ironwood Ridge

A taller wing at six-foot three moves well from end to end. He plays the game with a high feel and a plus IQ to make a play for a teammate. He isn't a ball chucker and will always move the ball and cut off the ball. He truly tries doing the right thing. He will score in transition and make some perimeter shots.
