Here are the teams I expect to take the biggest leap in NOVA.

Centreville
Centreville is a team that I have been keeping my eye on dating back to the start of last season. Centreville won only six games last year, so on the surface, they don't look like a team that will do much damage this season. There are two reasons I think this Centreville team will massively improve this year. Centreville played a handful of close games against some fantastic teams, so the six-win record is a little deceiving. They also return virtually all their production. One of the returners is [player_tooltip player_id='2340862' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'], and he is one of the most underrated players in the state. Jaxson will average close to, if not more than 20 a game, and he's coming off a second-team all-state season. Jaxson is one of the best guards in NOVA and will be paramount in how good this Centreville team is. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2353642' first='Soren' last='Kyne'] is coming off a fantastic Freshman year and will be a big contributor. Sharpshooting wing [player_tooltip player_id='2340864' first='Jack' last='Siwert'] will play a big part in this team. [player_tooltip player_id='2548289' first='Clark' last='Kim'] had a great summer, and he along with Junior Wing/Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2268335' first='Kobe' last='Clement'], will carve out significant roles.

Westfield
Westfield hovered around .500 for most of last year, but this team will undoubtedly win close to 20 games. They have four outstanding Juniors who were the four leading scorers for this Westfield team last season. [player_tooltip player_id='1782684' first='Isaiah' last='Brown'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2252294' first='Jemon' last='Price'] will be this team's backcourt, and they are both top 40 players in the state. Both Brown and Price can play either guard position and do a great job scoring the ball from all over the court. [player_tooltip player_id='2252302' first='William' last='Robinson'] and Matias Lee will play as Wing/Forwards and add a lot of size and skill to this squad. [player_tooltip player_id='2252302' first='William' last='Robinson'] is a good shooter with the athleticism and size to guard multiple positions. Will can score in the paint and can knock down threes. He is a versatile player on both ends, and this year will help open his recruitment. [player_tooltip player_id='2252298' first='Mathias' last='Lee'] is this team's best defender and can guard 5 positions at this level. He is a great athlete and can knock down the outside shot. There are a couple of other fantastic players on this roster that will contribute as well.

Woodson
Woodson was good last year, winning 16 games, but the development of their returning players makes me feel like this team will elevate into one of the top teams in NOVA. [player_tooltip player_id='2353657' first='Kaylen' last='Chilton'] returns after leading this team in scoring as a freshman. Kaylen is a top 5 Sophomore in the state. Kaylen is almost impossible to stay in front of and is an elite scorer from all over the court. [player_tooltip player_id='2242390' first='Noah' last='Limbago'] is a do-it-all player who will provide this team with versatility on both ends. He is strong and a fantastic athlete. Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id='1767542' first='Theo' last='Burke'] is a high IQ PG who will be a pivotal piece to this Woodson squad. There is a handful of other players on this Woodson squad that will contribute in big ways.

Broad Run
Broad Run was one of the better teams in NOVA last year, but I think they get even better this season. They return their best player in sharp shooting Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2548280' first='Adam' last='Perdue']. Adam is a complete offensive player, and although his shooting is his best trait, he excels at getting to the rim. Adam is someone who will be one of the top scorers in Loudoun County and will build on a terrific Sophomore season. Broad Run lost a few important players, but a big reason I think they will take an upward step is the transfer of Junior Forward [player_tooltip player_id='1963533' first='Ryan' last='Brzezanski']. Ryan has been a name that has been trending upwards all summer, and after spending his first few years at Briar Woods I can see Ryan being a top player in NOVA. Ryan is a terrific shooter, and at 6'7 you can play him as a wing or Forward. Ryan can defend in the paint and does a great job on the glass. Broad Run will run through both of these players, and I expect them to take a jump from the 15 wins they had last season.

Robinson
Robinson really struggled in the back half of last year, and they finished the season with five wins. I don't necessarily expect this Robinson team to contend for a state title or anything at the end of this season, but I am certain this team will win a lot more than five games. A big reason why is this Robinson backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='1966646' first='Noah' last='Barnhart'] is one of the top PGs in NOVA, and he had an outstanding Sophomore season. Noah is a high-IQ player who understands how to get his teammates involved. I love what Noah does around the rim, and he doesn't shy away from contact. [player_tooltip player_id='1963547' first='Braxton' last='Sebastian'] is the other fantastic guard on this Robinson team, and he is what you want out of an undersized guard. Braxton is a terrific passer and ball-handler. He reads the game well and is gritty on defense. Braxton can shoot the ball and play the game with great energy. [player_tooltip player_id='2252322' first='Grady' last='Hill'] should provide Robinson with a nice threat in the paint, and he does a good job as a floor spacer as a big. Robinson has a great chance to go from being a five-win team to having a winning record.

Here are the teams I expect to take the biggest leap in NOVA.
