The season is just around the corner. We have had a busy fall seeing players in various settings including camps, workouts, and open gyms. In our Market Corrections series there are two types of movement. First are new players that are moving into the rankings from the evaluations this fall. The second is prospects that made “significant” moves up the board. We will be breaking down both of these areas for each class along with the reasoning from the fall evaluations that made them names we wanted to correct before the season gets underway.

Here are Market Corrections: 2027 Significant Stock Boosters!

[player_tooltip player_id='2455406' first='Kevinas' last='Salkauskas'] (Stagg)

“The 6'8” five man has a thick body, but maintains good athleticism at the same time. He displayed that with rips where he took it to the rim for dunks. More athletic than I remembered over the summer. Powerful finisher around the hoop through contact, rebounds well, and is more than comfortable stepping out to knock in a three or mid-range jumper.” – Prep Hoops EXPO

[player_tooltip player_id='2383402' first='Jagger' last='Mayville'] (Waltonville)

“Mayville is a 6'5” left handed power forward who did work both in the drill work as well as games. What makes him so interesting is his length, agility, and skill around the hoop. Maneuvers his body to make difficult shots. Touch and good footwork around the hoop with plus athleticism. Works well around ball screens as a roller to the basket. Nice hook shot. Also like his length and mobility on the defensive end switching and contesting shots at the rim.” – Pure Sweat Fall Showcase

[player_tooltip player_id='2125643' first='Jaxson' last='Hancock'] (Centralia)

“Hancock is primed for a big sophomore season for the Orphans. The 6'1” shooting guard has really improved his handles and gained a lot of confidence with his play off the bounce. Has always been a sound perimeter shot maker which he showed again in this setting, but there was more in there. He played with athleticism in the open floor, converted reverse layups, and showed a more complete game as an all-around player.” – Pure Sweat Fall Showcase
