2027 Class 2A Fab 5

Over the next few weeks Prep Hoops SC will begin to preview the players and teams that you need to watch for this Winter, including the 2027 Class 2A Fab 5. This preview will go in-depth on the 5 highest-ranked Sophomores in Class 2A. This list includes prospects of various archetypes who will be eager to break out to College Coaches and begin to look for a home at the next level. J'sean averaged 11.3 Points Per Game, 7.7 Rebounds Per Game, and 1.5 Blocks Per Game as a Freshman, but the Grizzlies are now in Class 2A and will play in Region 1. Sanders is the Top Power Forward in South Carolina's Sophomore Class and he has a nice blend of length and athleticism. He will be used as a screener, lob threat, and in the dunker spot in every game. In his Freshman Year and the first year for the Armada as a program, Seeger averaged 5.6 Points Per Game. In 2024-25, Atlantic Collegiate will play in Class 2A Region 7 and will enter the season as one of the favorites for the State Championship with Medalie being one of the top shooters in the class. Seeger is a two-way Guard with positional size to shoot over contests and make life difficult for opponents. Dakarai plays for Mullins High School in 2A Region 7. He is a Guard who excels at beating defenders off the dribble, getting paint touches, and finishing at the bucket or finding open teammates. Worley has a good handle, floor vision, length, and speed. Dakari is a confident scorer who has a good pull-up game and can finish around rim protectors at the rim. He plays at Burke High School in Class 2A Region 6 and averaged 9.2 Points Per Game, 2.6 Assists Per Game, and 3.0 Steals Per Game making it to the 1A Lower State Semifinal in his Freshman Season. Singleton is a good playmaker and has had the ball in his hands a lot for the past year with Burke and the [program_tooltip program_id='2246675' first='Charleston' last='Raptors']. He likes to play the game at a fast pace, pushing it after turnovers and defensive rebounds. Jordyn averaged 7.8 Points Per Game and 1.6 Steals Per Game in 2023-24 for the Monarchs. He is a long, athletic wing who also is on the track team at Manning High School.
