Leading the way at the top spot in the rankings once again is Carr, who put together an outstanding summer both on the AAU circuit and with his high school team. His combination of overall skill level and increased size and athleticism have made him a high-major combo guard prospect and college coaches from all over the country came out to watch him play. After whittling down his numerous choices, the Central Catholic senior decided to take his talents to the East Coast and make a commitment to sign early with Wake Forest.

It's not often a newcomer jumps into the top five of the rankings in any class, but Carter fits the bill. The point guard comes to Oregon via Rosemary Anderson Prep, after excelling on the court up in Washington. At 6-foot-5 and the ability to both score, handle, and distribute, his combination of size and skills made him a coveted college prospect and he's looking at further developing those abilities at RA Prep on the Grind Session. The senior recently announced that he'll be signing early with Hawaii.

Rising to #3 in the rankings is the third Division I commitment so far in the Class of 2025 in Barron. The Portland State pledge earned his offer from the Vikings over the summer, which was a testament to his continued development as a wing prospect and potential to keep growing both physically and with his skills. Barron's length and athleticism are almost one of a kind in the state at this point and everything is pointing to him having a big year both individually and with the team at Barlow as they chase a 6A title.

Staying in the top five is Atkins, whose college future looks to be at the Division I level as well with a recent offer during an official visit to Eastern Washington. This off-season the high-scoring guard was able to showcase more of his floor leadership skills, playing at the point and posting a number of double-digit assist games with his Barlow high school teammates in summer ball. He, Barron, and [player_tooltip player_id='1368245' first='Mason' last='Bierbrauer'] will form a potent trio perhaps second to none in the state as they go after the 6A championship.

Rounding out the top five in this update is Nathan, arguably the heart and soul of the Roosevelt squad. The senior guard does it on both ends of the floor and in almost every way possible, and his ability to play and defend multiple positions makes him arguably the most versatile player in the state. His abilities extend beyond the basketball floor too as he's the school's all-time leading scorer on the soccer field and has kicked on the football team as well. On the court, he's earned a scholarship offer from OIT and more is certainly to come from this upcoming season.
