SMC Team Camp Standouts: 2026s

We came away with several new names, updated evaluations on several known prospects, and are excited to infuse new talent into our 2026 rankings tomorrow! The athleticism was apparent on putback dunks, his end-to-end speed in transition, lob finishes, backdoor cuts, dunking off a drop step, and completing a chasedown block from the weakside. Peterson also hit the glass heavy on both ends of the floor, was way more efficient and assertive with his dribble moves-- jab and a sweep blow-by to the rim, pump fake sweep through, etc. A softer touch has improved his in-between game with floaters in the paint after snagging an offensive board. The athleticism and motor make him a pretty tough POA defender that can guard 1-3 on the defensive end while bodying his way to the rim at the other end. Fowlkes understands when he needs to let it fly from the perimeter and when to duck under the closeout and get to the basket. A shifty PG that can change speeds and maneuver around helpers in the paint-- Frost got to his spots and hit several pull-ups in rhythm. Would like to see more leadership from the rising junior, using his scoring gravity to create easy looks for his teammates will be the next step in his development. The lefty combo guard sets up his drives to the rim well with jabs or up fakes but can also knock down shots from 18' and in. Walker isn't a great leaper but is patient around the rim and uses his wingspan to create enough space to finish around his matchup. Definitely a guard prospect for college coach's to track in the 2026 class as Wise looks to turn heads this season in PG County.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
