It is officially rankings update time here at the Pope Hoops Indiana headquarters. On Monday we released our updated and expanded Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings featuring our Top 50 prospects along with a loaded Watch List of over 300 more players. In total, we added 118 new names to this rankings update from what we previously had released. We are really proud of the work that went into making that happen. Now, we will spend the week diving deeper into the rankings with positional breakdowns, stock-risers, new names, and a look at some of the names to know on the Watch List. Let's begin here by highlighting six of the new names that made their debut in this rankings update.

Clem had some good moments over the summer to burst onto the scene and then played very well at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp in September. The 6'7" physical big man is a good scorer with his back to the basket on the block, rebounds at both ends of the floor consistently, and is a good positional defender. He should factor into things at Logansport High School this winter and is definitely on our radar in terms of big men to follow in Indiana's Class of 2027.

Fant is the perfect example of why we at Prep Hoops Indiana pride ourselves at being in the gym as much as possible. Eventually, being at Carmel High School essentially guarantees exposure to college coaches. However, early on, it can actually make you fly under-the-radar because there are so many good players. Admittedly, the first we had heard of this 6'1" point guard was at week one of the Metro Indy Fall League. The athletic guard stood out on both ends of the floor and will now remain on our radar for the three years to come.

After getting some valuable experience in a reserve role at the varsity level for Muncie Central High School as a freshman, Hiatt should be ready to really breakout now as a sophomore. A dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands, the 6'2" guard has a score-first streak but has shown some court vision and passing ability as well. There is a lot to like about his athletic frame and upside as a two-way guard.

The lone new name in our Top 50, Miller is still not exactly a truly "new name" to those that follow basketball closely here in the state of Indiana. The 6'3" point guard came up playing with the [program_tooltip program_id='2485818' first='George' last='Hill All Indy'] program and set to attend Pike High School before making the decision to go to Overtime Elite. One of just three freshmen to attend the high-level basketball league, Miller appeared in 14 games for the City Reapers averaging 1.4 points per game. A Nike Elite 100 participant, Miller is immediately one of the top prospects in the state of Indiana since his return to Pike High School.

Another prospect that we first came across at the Metro Indy Fall League, Muntel has impressive size and versatility. The 6'6" forward from Westfield High School flashes some face-up tools as a spot-up shooter or driver in closeout situations. Then, around the basket, his size allows him to finish consistently in the paint while also impacting the game on the glass. Remember his name over the next few years for the Shamrocks.

There are so many talented prospects in the sophomore class at Guerin Catholic High School. We've covered several of them extensively and two are ranked inside of the Top 25 in the class. However, an under-the-radar name among the bunch is [player_tooltip player_id='2560690' first='Alex' last='Wall']. The 6'7" big man really stood out when we attended morning workouts at Guerin Catholic a couple of weeks back. His size and length stand out immediately, but there are some raw tools to work with around the basket. Wall is a high-upside prospect worth monitoring closely.
