Scouting Notes: High motor center with pure strength and athleticism in the frontcourt. A very fluid center at 6’7 with very good footwork and above the rim finish ability. Football prospect but very impactful on the hardwood.

Clem straight up carried his Grand Park Premier White team as he had a size advantage in the paint and his guards did an excellent job of feeding him in the post. Clem would work to get position and used his wide frame to shield defenders out of the way. Patient once he caught the ball in the paint, Clem displayed nice post moves and was a force inside of five feet of the rim. Clem has seven Division I football offers and when you see the physicality he brings to the hardwood it makes perfect sense why. Talented multi-sport athlete from Logansport, Indiana.

An under-the-radar junior center at Logansport High School, Clem posted a double-double in the Berries’ 66-61 overtime win over Hamilton Heights on Friday evening. Clem had 22 points and 10 rebounds as Logansport moved to 2-0 on the season.

Clem is a big, physical presence on the interior that keeps getting better and better. He averaged 8.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season and should approach double-double averages now as a junior. His strength is one of his best attributes around the basket, but Clem still moves well with good footwork. He makes his debut inside our rankings at #125 in this update.

Physical rim running post presence that knows how to use his size and strength. Defensively he’s a paint clogger that provides rim protection and rebounding at a high level. Offensively he’s a bit raw, but has improving skill. Has shown he can knock down the jumper out fifteen feet. Really good screen setter that rolls hard to the basket where he has good hands and can finish through contact.

Under-the-radar big men always increase in value as they get older. Clem has started to showcase his abilities throughout this summer with Grand Park Premier White. The 6’7″ center is a consistent finisher out of the dunker’s spot, plays with physicality on the block, and is a good rim protector on the defensive end of the floor. Given his size he moves around well for a rising junior big man. Clem is poised for a big junior season at Logansport and is a front court name that college programs should start to get to know. He is also a three-sport athlete and high academic prospect.

It always is smart to track young big men like this pretty closely and we believe that Clem will be a guy that can really breakout down the road. He already put together a pretty high-level of production at Logansport High School as a sophomore averaging 8.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for the Berries.

Clem had some good moments over the summer to burst onto the scene and then played very well at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp in September. The 6’7″ physical big man is a good scorer with his back to the basket on the block, rebounds at both ends of the floor consistently, and is a good positional defender. He should factor into things at Logansport High School this winter and is definitely on our radar in terms of big men to follow in Indiana’s Class of 2027.

Another big man that was in attendance for the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID Camp that stood out on Team 1. A prospect out of Logansport High School, Clem is a strong and powerful big that plays a physical brand of basketball. He loved to battle through contact and seemed like he wanted nearly every rebound there was to get. Clem consistently finishes at a high percentage and was very active on both ends of the floor.
