We are in the thick of rankings update season here at Prep Hoops Indiana headquarters. This Monday we expanded and updated our Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings releasing a Top 150 along with nearly 300 more names on the Watch List. As we do each week when we release rankings, we will spend time diving deeper providing content that highlights stock-risers, new names, positional breakdowns, and much more. After highlighting 12 of our top stock-risers and new names in the junior class, let's now turn our attention to some of the best big men in our rankings.

Akase is a big time rebounder with the strength, athletic ability, and motor necessary to dominate around the basket. The 6'6" Tippecanoe Valley High School star averaged 13.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He gets a lot done right now by playing harder and being more physical than his peers.

You can't teach 6'9"-6'10". Ever since his freshman season there have been flashes from this Gary West Side High School big man that intrigued us at Prep Hoops Indiana. Still ranked as a Top 50 prospect, it will be interesting to watch him continue to develop this season.

Playing behind/alongside two of the best centers in the Class of 2025 has allowed Harvey to develop against some excellent competition in practice. The 6'8" big man really flashed his own potential this summer both on the AAU circuit and with his Ben Davis team. Remember the name because he is a very intriguing college prospect in his own right.

In terms of motor and athleticism you won't find a center in Indiana's Class of 2026 quite like Kalala. Like a lot of young big men, he isn't necessarily a traditional back to the basket presence. Instead, Kalala likes to face up and drive it at you to utilize his quickness and athleticism. Really intriguing prospect that currently holds an offer from IU-Indianapolis.

Call him a power forward. Call him a center. Either way McGrew is as physically dominant on the interior as any player in Indiana's Class of 2026. He seems to have really come into his own this fall in terms of really leaning in to being a beast inside. The skill has improved elsewhere, but he can really carve out his future as a rim protector, rebounder, and above the rim finisher.

A bit more undersized than a few of the other centers on this list, Scholl certainly matches up very well in terms of production. The 6'6" Northridge High School product averaged 15.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game as a sophomore and is coming off of a very good summer on the Adidas Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2076210' first='5Star' last='Basketball'].
