Overtime Tune-Up: Bracket 2 Standouts

<p>Below are the standouts from the Overtime Boys High School Tune Up on Saturday -- a one day tournament held at the Athletic Performance Center in Mequon. This article highlights the standouts who played in Bracket 2. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">A 6'5 forward who has a great size and length for a 2028 prospect. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">Kingsby was a surprising prospect that performed well on Saturday. He played a solid complimentary role offensively. The 2028 prospect also exploited mismatches well in times when his team needed him to. Nonetheless, his ability to pressure the ball and fill lanes in transition made him a standout prospect.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Jones led the way for Germantown on Saturday. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">He has great length at the guard position. Jones' is explosive at the basket. The 6'2 guard plays at a good pace in pick and rolls. Additionally, Jones did a great job balancing finding shooters and getting to his spots in the mid range.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">He wields a good motor in addition to consistent shot mechanics.</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">Broderson spaced the floor well for Whitefish Bay. The 6'1 CG looks to have gained some strength and physicality since I last saw him compete. </p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Webb showed the ability to orchestrate at a high level.</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">I enjoyed seeing the reads he was able to make in limited minutes for Whitefish Bay. He set the table and capitalized on opportunities when they presented themselves. His pace and approach was a catalyst on Saturday. </p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">He approached each game like he had something to prove.</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">He is clearly one of the top athletes in the tournament. His hustle and grit was apparent on Saturday. Jackson is fast from baseline to baseline and can elevate over the top of defenders in a heartbeat. His speed at the wing position allowed for MAS to have a very solid showing at the Tune-Up. </p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Rogers was extremely productive for the Highlanders. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">The 5'10 guard is comfortable under pressure on the offensive end. He showed the ability to read and anticipate. Rogers created shots for himself rather easily. Most impressive was his balance when pulling up from range. </p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Batemon continued to prove why he is one of the states top prospects.</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">His quick trigger jumper from range kept defenders on their toes all day. He was just as prolific scoring the ball when attacking inside of the arc. Overall, Batemon's composure and leadership was paramount for MAS' success on Saturday.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Belot was a solid source of play making for homestead. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">The 2027 combo guard was highly competitive all tournament. He did not show much weakness in his game. Particularly the ability to get into the paint and create for others well made him an impact on the floor.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Miskel showed grit on both ends. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">The 6'0 point guard provided energy on the defensive end. Miskel was reliable in isolated situations. Also, he got to the basket and finished strong through contact.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">His strength and savvy on both ends was apparent. </h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">Keys was another surprising prospect for MAS. He proved to be a sound combo guard. In addition, the 6'3 CG made winning plays and brought a selfless approach to the floor.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">Mulberry was a vocal leader for Germantown.</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">He anchored both sides of the floor. He used his savvy to earn visits to the line where he shot a solid clip. Most noticeable and impressive was his winning mentality.</p>    <p></p>
