Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1561617' first='Dikembe' last='Shaw']

Over the past couple of seasons [player_tooltip player_id='1561617' first='Dikembe' last='Shaw'] has continued to show the high amount of upside he has and is now easily viewed as a top 10 prospect in the in-state 2026 class. Coming into this season, there is no question about it, this is his Crown Point team. At around 6'7, Shaw is a forward that can so a lot of things on the basketball floor. Over this past year, he has gotten more athletic which has really helped him be a force in the around the basket while also showing to be a tough, versatile defender as well. He is coming off a big summer of AAU which earned him offers from schools such as Toledo, IU-Indy, and the University of Illinois Chicago. A big season is expected from this high upside junior as Crown Point looks to make a deep state championship run.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1561445' first='Mason' last='Darrell']

This Crown Point team has great mixture of talent and arguably the most talented player in the backcourt of the Bulldogs is junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561445' first='Mason' last='Darrell']. Listed at 6'2, Darrell is a combo guard that can play either role at a high level just as we saw over the offseason when he ran with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 2026. A sneaky athletic guard, Darrell plays with a very high motor on both ends of the floor while also being a great passer and a player that can score well at all three levels. He will likely be the top creator on this Crown Point team this upcoming season and with him being paired with Shaw, they make for one of the best guard-big duos throughout the whole state. Darrell should be a guard to keep eyes on next season.
