On Saturday, Prep Hoops SC was at Legacy Early College in Greenville, South Carolina for Week Three of the Hardwood Inc. Fall League. Although they are not officially officiated with their High Schools, Fall Leagues are a great chance for prospects to get out on the court with their teams and continue to prepare for the upcoming season. Check out my evaluations of five prospects who stood out from Week Three of the 2024 Hardwood Inc. Fall League:

[player_tooltip player_id='1958970' first='Frank' last='Whitley'] (Red Dogs/Greenville HS) - [player_tooltip player_id='1958970' first='Frank' last='Whitley'] begins the list of 2026s and 2027s who stood out on Week Three at the Hardwood Inc. Fall League. Whitley has shown good progress in working back in shape after missing last season with a knee injury and he looked both healthy and explosive this weekend. Whitley used his size advantage to get into the game early and then was very active in running the floor as the first half went on. Frank was the target of multiple lobs from Red Dog Guards and he looked comfortable going up and getting them near the rim. He is also a good passing big man and had several assists to cutters from the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2361714' first='Jonathan' last='Perry'] (Team HST/Christ Church) - Perry had a big second half to help lead Team HST to a come-from-behind win. He was defended extremely well in the first half, having to work hard for opportunities but rarely forced the ball into bad situations. The game opened up for Jonathan in the second half after getting a couple of open looks to go in leading a 15-point half. Perry displayed good body control, an ability to handle the ball under pressure, a lack of fear in attack bigs near the rim, and strength in finishing around bodies. Jonathan also helped contribute in ways other than scoring, putting up 8 Rebounds and 3 Assists to go with his 17 Points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420108' first='CJ' last='Durham'] (Rampage/Hillcrest HS) - I was very impressed with CJ's second-half performance in Rampage's big win over Ville Warriors. Durham displayed an ability to create opportunities for himself and others with the ball in his hands. He is a smart passer with a good handle but can also stretch the floor with made threes and attack close-outs. CJ is a weapon defense too with quick hands and good instincts in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679972' first='J'sean' last='Sanders'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last='']) - [player_tooltip player_id='1679972' first='J'sean' last='Sanders'] is the first of two 2027s from [program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last=''] who stood out to me at the Hardwood Inc. Fall League. [program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last=''] was represented by a few different teams, but Sanders was their #1 option in the post. He displayed good length and athleticism, was active on the offensive glass, and finished through contact. J'sean was effective from the dunker spot and worked both quickly and strongly once he got a dump-off pass from a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2450993' first='Aaden' last='Bruton-Smith'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last='']) - Aaden displayed good qualities as a 3 & D Wing for [program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last=''] on Saturday. He has good positional size for his age with a plus wingspan that helps him be effective on both ends of the floor. In the one [program_tooltip program_id='2076117' first='CPA' last=''] game I watched from Week Three, Bruton-Smith came off the bench and instantly provided energy and spacing, knocking down two of his first three attempts from behind the arc and moving his feet well on defense.
