While some of the players at the Community First Champion Center in Appleton on Sunday were well known and highly ranked, there were many who were much less familiar coming into the event. The majority of players included in this post are not currently ranked by Prep Hoops, with only two in the top 100 in the class of 2025. However, all of those included here had strong performances worthy of recognition. They are my stock risers from the class of 2025.

A quick guard with great court vision, Abdullahi is a plus-plus defender who seems to be everywhere on the court, all at once. He had several steals while I watched including a wily punch-out at mid-court. He also made two amazing passes on fast breaks to set up runners for easy shots. Abdullahi can hit the three-ball and take it to the rack as well.

The first of several Golda Meir athletes on this list, Anderson showed high confidence and ability on the offensive end of the court. He converts well around the hoop and has a smooth quality about his game. He uses his length well to elevate over defenders and displayed a sweet fade-away from the elbow in 3v3 action. Anderson also had a highlight-reel-worthy dunk in traffic that turned plenty of heads in the gym.

Gardner flashed some solid skills over the course of the evening in Appleton. He had a quality finish off a well-executed pick and roll and added some strong moves in the paint. He puts his stout frame and strength to good use, converting in traffic and defending well in the post. Gardner had a nice spurt in the second half of the game I watched in which he pulled down several rebounds and ran the floor with purpose.

Kraft plays with purpose and pace. He first caught my attention with his hustle and the fact that he always seemed to be involved in or near the action on the court. He showed nice body control on some crafty takes to the basket. He got after it on the boards and had several strong rebounds, including one paired with a put-back bucket. Kraft also showed the ability to hit from the outside and demonstrated a well-rounded, team-oriented skillset.

One of the taller players to attend The Expo: Wisconsin, Shareef put his height and solid frame to good use. He had a few dunks on the evening, both inside the lane and on fast breaks, but also showed some finesse, taking a slightly off-target alley-oop and adjusting for the lay-in. Shareef ran the floor well and also contributed some solid defense on the interior for his team.

Woods showed impressive athleticism, playing above the rim on both ends of the court. He uses his length and leaping ability to disrupt opponents who drive the lane and will get up for rebounds when around the hoop. He is a combo guard who can shoot it from outside or attack the basket. He had a smooth rebound and put-back early and then let loose with a two-handed flush and a powerful one-hand throw-down on fast breaks later in the game.
