Gardner flashed some solid skills over the course of the evening in Appleton. He had a quality finish off a well-executed pick and roll and added some strong moves in the paint. He puts his stout frame and strength to good use, converting in traffic and defending well in the post. Gardner had a nice spurt in the second half of the game I watched in which he pulled down several rebounds and ran the floor with purpose.

Gardner’s nose for the ball when shots went up was impressive. His strength was on display when boxing out on both ends. Gardner was very effective in the post and provided team 3 with a solid option in the paint.
