A little more than a month ago, we detailed a deep list of transfer students within the Wisconsin high school basketball landscape on Prep Hoops Wisconsin. That article can be found here ... https://prephoops.com/2024/08/wisconsins-list-of-transfers-for-2024-25-season/

Since that time, we have discovered even more transfer students, including a couple of players who will make an enormous impact on the success of their new homes.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='1240336' first='Amari' last='Allen']
Old School: IMG Academy (Florida)
New School: Ashwaubenon
Class 2025

Allen, an Alabama recruit and 6-foot-7 guard/forward, has enrolled at Ashwaubenon after playing at IMG Academy in Florida the past two seasons. Allen, who played at Kaukauna as a freshman, is living with his parents in the Ashwaubenon district and immediately elevates a Jaguars' program that figured to be in a bit of a rebuilding mode after losing four starters and its coach, Mark Tomashek, from a 23-5 season.

With the multi-talented Allen now in its lineup, Ashwaubenon shoots up in the preseason projections for the Fox River Classic Conference. Teaming with emerging 6-foot-8 junior [player_tooltip player_id='2391086' first='Carson' last='Dorgu'], Allen's addition gives the Jaguars excellent size and a pair of scorers/rebounders for first-year coach DeVante Blanks.

We slotted Allen in at No. 4 in the updated Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player Rankings for the 2025 class, although you could make the case for him to be higher. His ability to handle the ball and create offense for himself and his teammates along with his size/productivity are highly impressive. He selected Alabama this week after also considering offers from Minnesota and Wisconsin, among others.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='1481176' first='Chris' last='Davis Jr.']
Old School: Sun Prairie West/DME Academy
New School: Sun Prairie East
Class 2025

The other high-profile transfer is Davis Jr., who enrolled at Sun Prairie East this week. Davis had attended Sun Prairie West the past two seasons and played for his father/coach, Chris Davis Sr., during that time period.

Sadly, Chris Davis Sr. passed away from a heart attack at the age of 35 a few weeks ago. His son had been enrolled at DME Academy, a prep school program at St. John's Northwestern Academies in Delafield. After his father's sudden passing, Davis returned home and is now living with his mother, who resides in the Sun Prairie East district.

The 6-foot-4 Davis is a scoring machine as he averaged 40.8 points per game as a junior. His ability to get downhill and score at the rim in both the open court and off of half-court sets is nearly impossible to stop. Owning NCAA Division I scholarship offers from Arkansas State and Bryant, Davis joins a solid returning core for coach Steve Maselter at Sun Prairie East and makes the Cardinals one of the teams to beat in the 10-team Big Eight Conference.

Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2304732' first='Max' last='Raimer'] (6-5), [player_tooltip player_id='2388820' first='Trystan' last='Fry'] (6-2) and [player_tooltip player_id='2493698' first='Max' last='Glusick'] (5-10) are returning starters from a 16-9 squad and team with Davis to give Sun Prairie East an experienced and versatile lineup with plenty of scoring pop. Davis checks in at No. 8 in the updated Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player Rankings for the 2025 class.

Additional transfers of note ...

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='1756989' first='Isaiah' last='Oliver']
Old School: Middleton
New School: Waukee, Iowa, Northwest
Class: 2026

The son of former University of Wisconsin assistant coach Dean Oliver and a two-year varsity performer for coach Kevin Bavery at Middleton, Oliver left Middleton in early September as his family moved to Iowa. Now attending Northwest High School in Waukee, Oliver figures to be a key addition to that school's program. A physical and intelligent point guard with experience competing against high-caliber players both with Middleton and the Davis Brothers Elite club program, Oliver averaged 9.6 points and 3.0 rebounds as a sophomore at Middleton. His father was recently named a coach in the Iowa Prep United club program and is an Iowa native.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='2431224' first='Quintyn' last='Robinson']
Old School: Tenor/Veritas
New School: Audubon Techology
Class 2027

Robinson goes from one somewhat obscure school, Tenor/Veritas, to another in Audubon Tech. However, keep a couple of things in mind. Audubon Tech is a newer program, but competes in the Milwaukee City Conference so Robinson will get some exposure and some quality competition. Additionally, the small (5-9) but dynamic guard can play. He averaged 24.2 points per game as a freshman and earned second-team all-Lake City Conference recognition. He went off for a career-best 43 points in a victory over Cristo Rey Jesuit a year ago and is a key piece for first-year coach Fernando Williams at Audubon Tech.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='1552453' first='Brock' last='Hodges']
Old School: Beloit Memorial
New School: Beloit Turner
Class 2026

Hodges left Beloit Memorial over the summer and enrolled at nearby Beloit Turner. The junior guard had a strong sophomore campaign for Beloit Memorial as he averaged 8.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists for a team that finished 21-6. Hodges had been in the same backcourt as stellar 2026 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1561889' first='Amare' last='Hereford'] at Beloit Memorial. Hereford owns a couple of NCAA Division I scholarship offers. At Beloit Turner, Hodges joins another talented backcourt as coach Ken Watkins welcomes the return of junior starters [player_tooltip player_id='2635197' first='AJ' last='Dotson'] (5-10) and [player_tooltip player_id='2635201' first='James' last='Njoo'] (5-11). The Hodges/Dotson/Njoo backcourt figures to be one of the best in the Rock Valley Conference.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='2552505' first='Justin' last='Jones']
Old School: Milwaukee King
New School: Pius XI Catholic
Class of 2027

Jones played on the varsity squad at Rufus King last winter and made some solid contributions for the Generals. He decided to leave King and enroll at Pius XI Catholic for his sophomore season. Jones should contend for playing time with the Popes as coach Dan Carey lost all five starters to graduation from a team that went 17-9. Incoming freshmen [player_tooltip player_id='2304321' first='Emmett' last='Munson'] (6-3) and [player_tooltip player_id='2487653' first='Vinnie' last='Walker'] (5-9) could contend for playing time alongside Jones. Pius XI is also awaiting word from the WIAA on the eligibility status of [player_tooltip player_id='1431465' first='Zayn' last='Young'], a 6-foot-2 senior guard who attended Pius XI as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Dobson High School in Arizona last year. Young re-enrolled at Pius XI at the start of the 2024-25 school year.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='2386694' first='Emmitt' last='Huhn']
Old School: Plymouth
New School: St. Mary's Springs
Class of 2025

Huhn actually isn't a new transfer student as he attended St. Mary's Springs as a junior, but had to play at the junior varsity level due to WIAA transfer rules. After excelling at te JV1 level last school year, Huhn now is eligible and gives the Ledgers a much-needed inside presence with his 6-foot-7 size. Huhn's ability to score in the lane, rebound and defend the post should be big additions for coach Kyle Krueger and the Ledgers, who hope to contend for the title in the Flyway Conference.

Name: [player_tooltip player_id='1561904' first='Luke' last='Bauer']
Old School: Pius XI Catholic
New School: New Berlin Eisenhower
Class of 2026

The 6-foot-4 Bauer played in 25 varsity games off the bench for Pius XI Catholic last winter, but left the Popes over the summer and enrolled in his home district school, New Berlin Eisenhower. Bauer joins an intriguing frontline at Eisenhower as first-year coach Austin Stueck also will work with frontcourters Connor Carlson (6-7) and incoming freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2542599' first='Will' last='Kowske'] (6-4).
