We'll take a look at some positional breakdowns in the rankings, looking at the guards, wings and forwards rankings. Here's part one of the wings, ranking the top shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

25) [player_tooltip player_id='1767531' first='Mykell' last='Harvey'] | 6'2” SG | Northside (#57 Overall)

Harvey is a two sport star that is getting recruited heavily on the football field, but he's been a huge part of Northside's back-to-back state championship teams and is coming off a big summer as well. The 6'2” off guard is a big time athlete who attacks the rim fearlessly and finishes above the rim effortlessly, he can play on or off the ball and makes tough shots from multiple levels and he's a big time defender as well.

24) [player_tooltip player_id='1956075' first='Mason' last='Patrick'] | 6'4” SF | Trinity Episcopal (#56 Overall)

Patrick has steadily moved up the rankings over the years and has seen his stock really go up this summer, and now he'll be the go-to senior on a talented TES team this year. He's a big wing who great getting downhill off the bounce and using his size to create space and finish through contact, he works well in the mid-post area on face ups and jumpers and he is a very good rebounder particularly on the offensive end.

23) [player_tooltip player_id='2242031' first='Lorcan' last='Hyndman'] | 6'6” SF | Bishop O'Connell (#52 Overall)

Hyndman makes his debut after transferring to O'Connell prior to the season starting, and depending on his play in the WCAC he could see himself move up the rankings in the next update. He has great tools as a 6'6” wing who can put it on the deck and get to spots, he can make tough shots from multiple levels, he's an athletic finisher and he has huge upside defensively.

22) [player_tooltip player_id='1520852' first='Stuart' last='Cosby'] | 6'5” SF | St. Chris (#51 Overall)

Cosby is one of the top shooters in the Richmond area over the last few years, and he's coming off a big summer with Team Push on the 3SSB Circuit where he showed he can do it with the best of them. At 6'5” he has prototypical size on the wing and a frame that should sure up in a collegiate setting, he has deep range and a quick release from deep, he works well off the ball to get open and he competes on both ends of the floor too.

21) [player_tooltip player_id='1343624' first='Khalil' last='Caple'] | 6'4” SG | Norfolk Collegiate (#50 Overall)

Caple has been a staple of the NoCo rebuild over the past few years, and he's one of the more versatile players you'll come across in the 757 in the class. The 6'4” guard plays all over the floor for his team and guards multiple positions, he's a high IQ player who makes the right play consistently, he can score the ball from all three levels and he is a good finisher at the rim too.

20) [player_tooltip player_id='1494121' first='Anthony' last='Saunders'] | 6'3” SG | Miller School (#49 Overall)

Saunders transfers to Miller School after being a standout at Edison over the past few years, and he'll fit in great with their uptempo and high scoring system where he'll be able to make plays for himself and others. He's a big guard who gets downhill off the bounce and finishes well through traffic, he's very good posting smaller guards and using his strength, he can play on or off the ball and he can make shots from multiple levels too.

19) [player_tooltip player_id='2528345' first='Matthew' last='McLaurin'] | 6'4” SG | VA Academy (#48 Overall)

McLaurin is a new addition to the rankings after transferring to VA Academy from New England, and he could be a little low in the rankings until we get a chance to see him live, but his tape looks very impressive. At 6'4” he has a good frame with long arms and is a solid athlete who is very good in transition, he's a very good shooter from deep with good range who doesn't need much space and he can make difficult shots off the catch and off the bounce.

18) [player_tooltip player_id='1328950' first='Chancellor' last='Perkins'] | 6'2” SG | Highland School (#45 Overall)

Perkins is going to be an x-factor for Highland School who looks to make a run back to the VISAA D2 State Championship, and his ability to score it can be an absolute game changer for them. He's a microwave scorer who can get hot quickly and score the ball in bunches, he has deep range well beyond the three-point line, he can hit contested midrange shots off the bounce and when he gets it going he's a nightmare for defenders in isolation.

17) [player_tooltip player_id='1580731' first='Aiden' last='Caulker'] | 6'4” SG | Bishop O'Connell (#43 Overall)

Caulker is one of those players that sometimes gets overshadowed because he's played with so many great players in his high school career, but he provides so many winning intangibles to his team with his impact on both ends of the floor. He's got great size as a two guard that will translate to the next level seamlessly, he moves his feet well and is a physical on ball defender, he can make shots off the catch and he can create off the bounce in one-on-one situations.

16) [player_tooltip player_id='1956074' first='Jameer' last='Reynolds'] | 6'7” SF | Dan River (#41 Overall)

Reynolds is the highest new member of any public school player, after transferring to Dan River from Carlisle where he was reclassified to the 2026 class and helped them make a run to two straight state championship appearances. He's shown tremendous growth over the past few years as he's physically grown about 3 inches to 6'7” with long arms and a frame that should fill out, he's a big time athlete who plays above the rim, he can make plays off the bounce and is a much improved shooter as well.
