Prep Hoops' The Expo is set to make its way down to the Carolinas this weekend. Prospects from South Carolina and North Carolina will be at the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center on Sunday, September 8th for a packed day of head-to-head competition between some of the best the area has to offer. Check out a small breakdown of five prospects from the Palmetto State I consider "under the radar" who will come in with a point to prove and be eager to improve their stock in the PH SC Rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1985871' first='Reese' last='Walter'] begins my final preview for the Prep Hoops weekend of camps: notable under-the-radar prospects. Walter has been improving year by year for the Bulldogs and might become "the guy" for the Boiling Springs Offense in his Senior Year. Reese does a tremendous job of balancing facilitating and scoring, but we could see him play more off the ball on Sunday because he is such an efficient shooter.

Sebi was a new addition to the most recent Prep Hoops SC 2026 Rankings because he was such an important piece for Riverside in their run to the State Championship Game last year and then stepped into a starting role for them during the June Scholastic Period. Boyogueno is relentless, strong, and athletic in the offense paint and will score second-chance points or put on a show at the rim.

Jeter is one of my favorite underrated big men in the state and I am excited to see how he performs in Rock Hill. AJ has settled into his frame quite well over the past year and should be one of the more physically dominant players in 3A this year. He works hard on the glass, protects the rim, and even has a good jump shot from 15 feet and in.

Claxton is a prospect who could be primed for a breakout two-way performance at The Expo: Carolinas. He is a terrific spot-up shooter, particularly from the corners, but can also make a pass on the drive and does the dirty work on the glass. Deuce doesn't have the quickest of feet, but his good hands, strong frame, and quick anticipation help him make up for it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2143673' first='Oliver' last='Coleman'] is a veteran of Prep Hoops' Camps and is signed up for The Expo after a strong showing at the Freshman Showcase last year. I was impressed by Coleman this Summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] and I feel that his defense could be a standout attribute on Sunday. Coleman has good postional size and length and can even switch onto bigger wings. On the offense end, Oliver is best in attack mode with a good handle and nice finishing attributes.
