in person this season, you really missed out. He had one of the most dominant scoring seasons in the state, putting up over 25 points per game with eight games of 30 or more points. There simply weren’t many, if any, players who could match up with his scoring package at 6’4″. Boyogueno was an easy pick for the 5A All-State team and should get a chance to play at the highest level in the near future.
On the flip side of the elite scoring matchup was Boyogueno. Although Sebi finished with an impressive 23 points, he had to work extremely hard on every possession. He is at his best when he can get straight to the rim, but the Dorman defense made him have to combine moves in order to make a play. Sebi was still pretty efficient on his shots and tallied 5 assists, but it wasn’t nearly the dominant offensive showing that the Warriors need to get in big games.
Sticking with big scoring nights, Sebi put up 25 points in Riverside’s win over Greer. This has become a somewhat routine game for Boyogueno, who has been one of the state’s premier scorers this season. After the Yellow Jackets hung around in the early stages of the game, Sebi took over the second quarter with a handful of steals, all resulting in points on the other end. He also frequently used his size advantage to take smaller guards off the dribble and finish around the rim in the half-court.
Rounding out the Top 10 is another extremely proficient scorer. Sebi boosted his stock among College Coaches with big live period performances this Summer, but there could still be a late surge in his recruitment coming soon if he continues to show progress as a playmaker.
Sebi has had a great season for the Warriors. He made the jump from #25 to #12 in this latest update of the 2026 Palmetto State Rankings.
He’s currently averaging 18.7 ppg, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals while shooting 43.1% from three-point range and 55.2% from the floor. Sebi can really explode to the cup and score the ball while in attack mode. He really does a nice job of playing the game at all 3 levels on the floor. He has good court vision to penetrate-kick to an open teammate at times or simply finish going to the basket.
The Warriors play Greenville HS in 3rd Round of the SCHSL Class 5A-Division 2 Playoffs Wednesday.
Sebi still hasn’t scratch the surface yet with his play. He rarely plays any Grassroots basketball at all. Boyogueno will look to take over the leadership role for the Warriors this season after making a run to the Class 4A State Championship Game last season.
Sebi will finish strong going to the basket while playing in attack mode. He really likes to slash to the cup. Sebi can get downhill to the basket and still must improve on his perimeter skills moving forward. He really plays very active in the passing lanes picking up steals and deflections along the way.
Sebi comes moves up from #34 to #24 in this latest update of the 2026 Palmetto State Rankings.
Sebi was a new addition to the most recent Prep Hoops SC 2026 Rankings because he was such an important piece for Riverside in their run to the State Championship Game last year and then stepped into a starting role for them during the June Scholastic Period. Boyogueno is relentless, strong, and athletic in the offense paint and will score second-chance points or put on a show at the rim.
