[player_tooltip player_id='1850530' first='Ian' last='Thomas'] (DeSmet): After a stellar sophomore season in which he helped the Spartans to a Class 5 state championship, the 6'3" point guard continued to elevate his play during the summer with the xx 16U team. The young lefty has a extremely high basketball IQ and he can distribute the ball well. He is also excellent at slicing up defenses with his penetrating drives and twisting layups. He has picked up multiple Division I scholarship offers during the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1775703' first='Eli' last='Herbert'] (Grain Valley): The 6'3" point guard moved up into the Top 10 after a strong summer with the KC Run GMC 16U. He's a coach's son, so he knows how to play the game. On top of that, he has a heater from 3-point range and he can also create his own shot off the dribble. Eli ended the recruiting process this week by giving a commitment to Liberty University. Liberty picked up a good one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1872262' first='Reese' last='Kimrey'] (Kickapoo): A 6'1" point guard who enjoyed a breakout summer while playing with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075378' first='MPJ' last='Elite'] 16U team. The young lefty has a strong build and he can wiggle his way into the lane to the basket and knock down the mid-range jumper. What he did throughout the summer was consistently knock down the deep ball, which takes his game to another level. He will be one of the top prospects in the SWMO area this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352805' first='Quentin' last='Coleman'] (Principia): A 6'2" combo guard who made a big jump throughout the summer while playing for the SW IL Jets. He's a smooth offensive talent who has really increased his explosiveness as an athlete. He was throwing down tip dunks in traffic on a regular basis. He is getting stronger physically, which will enhance his potent offensive bag.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850452' first='Landon' last='Van Pelt'] (Lee's Summit): A 6'9" post player who is emerging as one of the top young bigs around. I watched a few times during the summer and he was imposing with his size and strength in the paint and also very nimble when he ran the court. He has strong post moves and good footwork inside and he can also hit the short jumper with a soft touch. He moves people around with his big body inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090487' first='Cohen' last='Robinson'] (Rockhurst): A 6'4 lefty point guard who had good size and an excellent feel for the game. He has good handles and he is very shifty with good passing skills. He can create off the dribble and he can also play off the ball to score. He played with VWBA 16Us during the summer.
